A Floral Tour Of Paris and London

Hello everyone! Today it’s all about the eye candy and floral inspiration…brought to you by my camera and the flowers of Paris and beyond…

If you’ve never been to Europe in the Spring and you are planning a trip, this is definitely my own favorite time of year with blooms bursting everywhere that you look and the weather somewhat agreeable. This gorgeous Camellia bush was found in one of London’s many parks, but I can’t recall which at the moment…

Here we are in London again just hanging out with some pigeons. Love the blue floral groundcover!

In Paris…the Cherry Blossoms were incredible and bursting for the bees!

Fallen beauty…

Blooms in so many of the shops…

In all sorts of creative ways…
Weeping Wisteria…

Florists abound in London and in Paris…

I spent a lot of time walking and much of it through the many public parks…

My hayfever was off the charts, but I carried on with Kleenex in hand…

I’ve been to Paris many times, in fact lived here for a few months with my French cousins as a teen. I never tire of the beauty of the gardens and the architecture surrounding them…
Tucked away quietly is the Musée Carnavalet that is one of my favorite places to walk around, especially when the weather turns foul. This was a beautiful day, and the interior courtyard is formal and elegant…
And the grand dame…the cathedral Notre Dame, with roses in bloom in pink…
More coming your way soon…enjoy your day!

Your holiday looks divine and thank you for sharing, I love that topiary floral center piece, I may copy that for a wedding I am doing.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks so much for the photos – I recognize two of my favorite places in Paris! I also adore the florists along the Champs-Élysées – just rows and rows of silver galvanized tin buckets filled with every conceivable flower and scent on earth – heaven! We haven't been to Paris for two years – but you (and couple other bloggers) are making it impossible to go another year without returning. I miss my spiritual home! (And, yes, I know in a previous life I was royalty – mainly, because I really really really like people to do as I say.)
