A French Cottage By The Sea – Home Tour
In today’s post I’m sharing an aesthetic I admire and it’s a beautiful one indeed! This isn’t a true home tour, but there IS a fabulously chic beach home to see. It’s a brand that specializes in event planning and I’ve been following them for several years. I thought that you would like to view more of this… French cottage by the sea!
With a tastefully done blend of gilded French antiques, faded velvets and fabulous feathers and frills, White Lilac knows how to pull it all together! The photo above really sets my heart on fire and yet it’s so simple. In fact their business tagline reads “We design thoughtfully curated spaces”, and they do bring it… as promised.
The softly washed minty palette of the walls is simply the perfect backdrop for this open plan beach house living room. You’ll see the white dining table and velvet bench in their party planning settings.

Winter is still upon us and here are some shots from a beachy winter soiree.
With that incredible mirror as the focal point, a winter wonderland was created with lots of snowy, bleached out white.
Pale aquas and pinks in a shabby chic style winter wonderland. Perhaps this will inspire you for next year’s holiday season as it has me!
You can recreate a similar look to use on a winter table this year. Lots of white linens, dishes, pastel napkins, pink peonies and silver. I’ll link some similar SHOP THE LOOK pieces below.
