Are you ready to walk for miles and see the best of the best that is out there in furniturelandia these days? As you know I’ve recently done that with camera in hand and comfy shoes on foot so here is what I’ve seen on my day 2 tour of High Point Market with the Design Blogger’s Tour…
Great beds {and yes, by the end of the tour each day I couldn’t wait to plop into one!}. Lots of great beds and I’m happy to report that upholstered headboards are still very much en vogue, since I’ve had one in my master bedroom for several years now! But ohhhhh, how I would L.O.V.E. this one above by
Vanguard Furniture with indestructible fabric from
Crypton…
We were treated to a view of not only the GORGEOUS furniture at Vanguard, but to a demonstration of Crypton fabric that is basically bulletproof in terms of it’s anti stain factor…
Hello amazing selection of fabrics! Everything at Vanguard is fully customizable and their
mission statement speaks to sustainability and good core values…
Mixing traditional and modern pieces in soft and hard goods and I spotted lots of white and blue……
This creative table caught my eye and looks like it was put together like a puzzle!
Our second stop was at the showroom of
Universal Furniture that is ever so stylish with a mix of traditional high end luxury and yet affordability for most consumers. I have shopped their lines at some of the local stores in town and am always impressed by the up to date designs…
Deep blues were everywhere as an accent with neutral woods and fabrics…
Lots of choices in terms of finish…
A mix of laquered wood with a metal base in silver and I could easily see this in any style of decor paired up with the right accessories…
Nailhead trim and boho style seem almost incongruous when mentioned in the same sentence, but this is how you mix up some of Universal Furniture’s pieces for a just right panache!
Yum…just yum!
Nourison rugs {and pillows too!} was our next stop and we saw it all from tradition to recycled denim…
Texture is very much on trend with
Nourison…
And don’t even get me started on the pillow love with the sublime blush pink by designer Mina Victory!
At Harp & Finial the design is in the details with a selection of furniture, lamps and accessories that are affordably priced and on trend…
My favorites were the oversized wall art pieces, which is often overlooked in home decor lines…
Their aesthetic appeals to the young and hip with tailored, modern, organic, preppy and global lines…
We ended up our day at
Hillsdale Furniture {good, affordable, smart design} with a tour by designer Barry Wooley and a fabulous cocktail party. Thank you to
High Point Market, the Design Blogger’s Tour and all of our sponsors for another great day…
I’ll be back every day over the next several days with some fresh and exciting things to share {woo hoo}!
