Hi friends and welcome to the 73rd edition of our series Home Style Saturdays! I hope that you are enjoying the new formatting on the blog that I’m still tweaking. My goal is to make this a beautiful (and free:-) on-line magazine for you to enjoy and that takes work behind the scenes. As always, feel free to use the contact page if you have anything special that you’d like to see or questions that you may have…and please leave comments because I love them!

This weekend I’m thrilled to be working with some beautiful flowers (not these though) from my local florist and will be styling and shooting some special posts soon. Today I’m off to visit my mom and then on Sunday headed to a local car show (yawn) with my husband. What are you up to…I’d love to know!

Now it’s time for Home Style Saturdays.

Where did you get the. Beautiful ruffled comforter and bedskirt you have in your picture?

    1. Hi DaleAnn. I think that the one you are referring to is from Shabby Chic Couture by Rachel Ashwell. Thanks for stopping by and happy weekend!

  2. Thank you for this lovely blog. I so love your style. The soft pastels seem to make life lighter.

    1. Thanks Linda for stopping by and I agree that pastels just lighten up the mood in a home!

  3. Hi Janet, I can’t wait to see the flower styling and photo shoot that you’re going to do. I love flowers so much! They just make me happy! Today, I’m getting my haircut in preparation for attending our son’s and soon to be daughter in law wedding in Disney World! We are so excited and happy but it is quite a bit of work to get ready for it! Ha! It isn’t until week after next, but we are looking forward to being with family and then going to the parks too! Hope you have an awesome weekend!

    1. How fun…a wedding and in the most fun place to be!

  4. My son just bought a house about 10 minutes away. My daughter moved in with him as his roommate. He gave me free reign on decorating his house since he loved the way I did mine. So I went cracking……until my daughter got wind and cabboshed that. Let’s just say her style of decorating is way different then mine. So that’s what I’m doing today……nothing. lol 😉

    1. I hope that you can maybe reach some sort of decorating compromise there Cindy! Enjoy your day…
