A Nostalgic Holiday Home Table Setting!

Creating a nostalgic holiday home table setting like this one that takes just minutes with a fun happy color palette! My theme for this year’s holiday season will give an ode to the past but with a modern playful vibe. It’s ridiculously simple to construct a similar look with just a small investment. Let’s get started!

CREATE A NOSTALGIC HOLIDAY HOME!

When you have guests to your home for a meal, don’t you want them to feel welcome? I surely do and yet it doesn’t have to take massive planning or decadent tablescapes to impress! This assemblage is in partnership with Walmart and you can find some of the best pieces at Walmart Home which is sold online for your convenience!

I fell in love with these Christmas trees that are reminiscent of the old mercury glass! While the vintage holiday pieces are so fragile, these are sturdy and made to last.

I ordered some for my beach home and several more for one of the mantels at our house! So cute for that nostalgic holiday home feel and a good size. They are “must haves” to scatter around the home to bring cheer for the holiday season!

With a mix of the different sizes and colors I only needed three to make a statement. I added some red glass votives and mini string lights along with these bottlebrush trees!

These ombre holiday bottlebrush trees come in a set of 10 and are part of Walmart’s holiday collection this year.

*TIP* Toss a few soft throws on your chairs. Guests can grab one if they want to feel extra cosy!

One thing that you’ve probably noticed these last months is that it can be challenging to find what you want and things sell out quickly! I would highly suggest that you start shopping for your holiday home now with Christmas only 2 months away! This baking dish from The Pioneer Woman is perfect for holiday cakelettes!

I’ve put together a few shopping guides with some favorite pieces from Walmart Home below.

  1. Thanks, Janet. My area (Eastern Tennessee) is having some shortage but not bad. Realizing that things might worsen, I decided to do my Christmas shopping early. Just finished today….yeah!!! I believe everyone else has the same idea because the stores have been very crowded. Thanks for all you do. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

    1. I’ve been doing my Christmas shopping as well, as there is such a backlog of certain items. I have a Christmas gift guide coming later this week that might be helpful!
