It’s been a busy week, a productive week, an interesting week and yet a very sad week for me. Busy with lots of photo shoots for upcoming blog posts. Did I tell you that I have received 3 amazing Christmas trees from three incredible sponsors? I shared the first of those in THIS POST the other day and I’m so grateful for the love that it’s received in blog land:-). I’ll be sharing the other trees with you soon and much more holiday decor with tips for entertaining too.
Right now I’m up at our beach home and we are moving forward with some much needed renovations in the planning for 2017. Yay! I have a post coming later in the week with one of my favorite companies to work with… Delta Faucet and we had a plumber come out to do some work here at the beach today that I’ll share.

Speaking of the beach, did you have a chance to read THIS WEEK’S POST with the Styled & Set Blogger’s Tour? Some of my very favorite blog buddies participated in it and you will be blown away by the talents of these ladies!

And the sadness is that we lost my dear father-in-law this week who passed away after a 3 year battle with dementia. The time came that he finally was ready to let go after a valiant fight and it’s sad for anyone to lose a beloved parent, so it’s been difficult on my husband and our children as well as me. My husband has really been a saint in carefully managing dad’s life for the last 3 years…it was one of the most difficult times for him. Some day I may dedicate a post to dealing with dementia because I’ve learned so much and possibly it can help someone else in their journey. For now…we are taking a few days off to relax at the beach, so I’ll catch you later!

Please check out my dear friends Kim, Jamie, Yvonne, Anita, Lory and Rachel…who gather together every Saturday for Home Style Saturdays… xo
