A big burst of vibrant color! That is what we were treated to on the third and final day of the Design Bloggers Tour at High Point Market! Just take that neutral room with the great light and make it opulent with a few key pieces of color as in the pair of rich fuchsia pink chairs. Yes please!
Or the mismatched chairs in patterns that perhaps you don’t think quite match, but the tones are similar and with the navy pops tossed in the mix I’m BIG TIME in. All of this goodness from Huntington House Furniture is affordable and yet luxurious and made here in the U.S. {love that}.
A couple more room settings from Huntington House, and the color blue was everywhere at High Point Market…
On trend indeed but not trendy, and the blue button tufted sofa in their collection accented by blue leopard is just stunning for every style from traditional to modern to coastal and beyond…
A feast for the senses in the world of color and texture was found in the Rowe Furniture showroom as well. Simply take a room with hardwood floors and neutral walls and add color with drapery and an amazing lacquer painted side table or chest.
Accents are in the details with nail head trim and the comfort level was beyond comfortable in this Rockford Sectional from Rowe…
More Rowe love and a melange of thoughts nicely blended in this coastal selection that has a vintage modern vibe…
The Gillian Ottoman…and there you go again with timeless button tufting, yet updated here with modern silver metals…
Now we are on to Norwalk Furniture and color is everything in the sofa below!
Yes, that would be me and the Crypton Performance Fabrics demonstration had me convinced as an owner of multiple dogs {and a bunny, and a guinea pig:~}} that hang out on the furniture with no holds barred…
Pattern play in oversized pink paisley from Norwalk and it was refreshing to see such an appealing hip pattern on a traditional chair. How awesome would this be in a girl’s room…big girl or small.
At Theodore Alexander we were treated to meet the interior designer Michael Berman who was a delight to chat with. He was passionate about his new line called Califolio for Theodore Alexander and it was immediately evident to me that he was inspired by cars {and California}. Lots of brass accents and details inspired by his love for vintage autos and their classic lines…
Palm Springs~esque design from Michael’s Califolia Collection…
Sauder Furniture is synonymous with both value and style and had some very affordable and color bathed pieces for the living room, dining room and perhaps what they are best known for ~ the home office…
I was pleased as punch to see this coral color that reminded me of….well….punch! (hah!). They’ve come a long way baby indeed…
And finishing up with a glass or two of fine wine…
Hobbs Design carries a unique collection of freestanding sliding drawer storage cabinets that feature wooden wine boxes from Bordeaux. These vineyard boxes are perfect for kitchen storage or anywhere in the home…
I’ll be sharing more thoughts and styles from High Point Market in the weeks to come…
