Can a traditional home feel elegant and laid-back at the same time? Y’all, today’s Mediterranean home tour says yes, and it says it with so much charm!

Cielo Rosa, designed by Savvy Interiors, has all the classic structure we love, from beamed ceilings to a richly paneled game room with real heritage character. But step a little further in, and the Mediterranean warmth starts to show. Sunny rooms open onto treetop views, warm wood and marble carry from one space to the next, and a few eclectic surprises keep things fun. Folk art portraits in gold frames? A fox vase perched on the bar? Yes, please!

I’ll be pointing out a few little threads along the way, too, like the scalloped details that show up from the entry all the way to the bunk room. Consider it a fun game of spot-the-scallop, with plenty of easy ideas to borrow throughout this home tour.

So come on in, and let’s take a look around together!

An Entry with a Wavy Welcome

While large entryways full of personality are a sight to be seen, an entryway doesn’t need much to make a lovely first impression. Best example? This one, with just a few well-chosen pieces!

This home tour entryway is also where we get our first sighting of those scalloped details.

The golden wavy mirror hangs right above a burl wood console with curvy legs to match, and together they feel playful without losing any of that classic polish.

Tucked neatly underneath, a pair of round poufs in an ochre and black pattern adds a little eclectic flair. It’s such a smart idea for an entryway, since they give guests a spot to sit and slip off their shoes, then slide right back under the console when they’re not in use. Pair that with a sculpted white vase full of fresh greenery, and you’ve got a welcome that feels just as elevated as it is relaxed.

A Living Room Full of Mediterranean Soul

Framed in gold and full of vibrant color, the folk art portraits hanging on either side of the fireplace are what make this living room so memorable. They add such a soulful, personal touch against the creamy walls, and they keep a very classic room from ever feeling too formal.

The fireplace itself is pure Mediterranean charm, with a smooth white hood that rises all the way to the beamed ceiling and a marble surround framing a herringbone firebox. Keep that herringbone in mind, y’all, because it makes another appearance later on!

Down below, a pair of cane barrel chairs adds natural texture that pairs beautifully with the antique-style rug underfoot. And if you’ve got a view like this one, floor-to-ceiling linen drapes hung right up near the ceiling are a wonderful way to frame it while making the whole room feel taller.

A Classic Kitchen with Personal Touches

White shaker cabinetry is about as timeless as kitchen design gets, and here it gets a lovely lift from a full wall of Carrara marble that runs right up behind the open shelves.

It echoes the marble around the living room fireplace, so the kitchen feels connected to the rest of the house from the very first glance.

Now, for me, what gives this corner so much warmth is the styling. It’s just so pretty!

Framed family photos and a little potted plant share the shelves with transferware pitchers and a wooden bowl, while down on the counter, an egret figurine sits beside a few stems of white tulips.

If you have open shelving at home, mixing sentimental pieces in with your everyday dishes can make a kitchen feel so much more like home!

And with little pops of red on the range knobs and a warm walnut butcher block on the island, all that crisp white never feels cold.

A Breakfast Nook with a View

Is there anything cozier than a banquette tucked into a bay window?

This one wraps all the way around a round pedestal table, so there’s room for the whole family to slide in for breakfast with treetop views right outside.

I love the color pairing here! The banquette’s green-and-cream striped back goes so well with the leather seats. Especially for a breakfast nook!

It’s a clever mix that keeps the look soft while making spills so much easier to wipe away.

The woven-back chairs across the table carry that leather through with cushions tied right on, and a leather-trimmed drum pendant overhead pulls the whole corner together.

A Dining Room Drenched in Green

Painting the ceiling the same color as the walls might sound like a bold move, but this dining room shows just how cozy it can feel!

The soft green wraps the entire space, from the walls right up into the vaulted ceiling, and dark botanical drapery framing the French doors gives the whole room such a storybook feel to it.

Keep an eye on the floor, y’all, because the scallops are back! This time they ripple across the rug in navy and green with a touch of blush, adding the most playful note to such a refined room.

Over on the far wall, family photos hang in gold frames under brass picture lights, a lovely way to give everyday snapshots a gallery-worthy moment.

A Family Room with Rustic Warmth

Remember that herringbone firebox from the living room? Here it is again, this time set into a stacked limestone fireplace that climbs all the way up to the vaulted ceiling.

With dark wood beams overhead and a chunky wood mantel, this room leans a little more rustic, and it feels like such a cozy spot for the family to gather.

The cognac leather swivel chair is a real standout here, specially with a cream throw draped over the back. Such a perfect spot to curl up in!

Across from it, a dark marble coffee table adds a touch of drama against the creamy textured sofa and neutral rug.

This pairing is a simple idea to try for a fall refresh. Mixing smooth and nubby textures like this is an easy way to give a neutral space more depth without introducing a single new color!

A Powder Room in Full Bloom

Green makes another appearance in the powder room, and this time it blooms across every wall in a dark botanical wallpaper dotted with soft peach flowers.

A white oak vanity keeps the look light and natural, with a slatted shelf below that’s just right for stacking a few hand towels or a pretty basket.

Above it, a slim brass arched mirror and a two-light sconce add a gentle glow.

A Game Room with Heritage Charm

Deep green walls and rich wood paneling give the game room the feel of an old family estate.

A carved wood pool table sits front and center, while the paneled bar behind it shows off little stained glass cabinet doors that catch the light in shades of ruby and emerald.

Pulled up to the bar, the stools are covered in a hunting dog print with houndstooth seats, a sporting touch with a real sense of fun.

And don’t miss the fox vase perched at the end of the bar, one of those eclectic little finds that gives this home so much personality!

Just around the corner, a cozy lounge carries the same spirit with a leather channel banquette tucked beneath a gallery wall of horses and hounds.

A pair of marble bistro tables and wood armchairs with sage cushions make it the perfect spot for a game of cards between rounds of pool.

If you love the look of a gallery wall, mixing frame styles and sizes around one larger anchor piece, like the tree print here, can give it that collected-over-time feel.

A Bedroom with a Playful Side

A little pup in a party hat, surrounded by wildflowers and bees, hangs right above the bed and sets such a whimsical tone for this bedroom.

The spool four-poster bed in a pale wood finish adds some of that classic character we love, and blue linen bedding with an olive knit throw keeps the palette calm and relaxed.

What makes this room so charming, though, is how the details talk to each other.

The cherry and bird print on the pillows matches the wallpaper lining the back of the built-in shelves, for example. It’s little details like these that make the whole room feel perfectly in sync.

Lining a bookcase or niche with a pattern you love, then repeating it on a pillow or two, can be such an easy way to create that same connected look in your own home!

A Bunk Room Made for Sleepovers

And here they are, the scallops we spotted from the bathroom!

They trim the top bunk and the edge of the blush roman shade, and they’re the perfect playful finish for this kids’ bunk room.

The built-ins are where this room really shines, though. Warm oak bunks are tucked right into the walls with arched reading nooks and little sconces up top, and brass handrails with built-in steps make climbing up feel like part of the fun.

It’s such a smart use of space, too, especially if you have little ones sharing a room or love hosting sleepovers.

Pink quilted bedding and a soft dandelion print wallpaper keep the mood light and cheerful, and a floral rug in shades of pink and plum finishes it off.

A Kids’ Bath in Soft Pink

Soft pink planked walls give this kids’ bathroom such a cheerful feel, and the warm wood double vanity keeps it practical for the little ones.

With its bracket feet and furniture-style drawers, the vanity looks more like a vintage piece than built-in cabinetry, so it can easily grow right along with the kids.

Brass mirrors and a brass sconce add a polished touch, and down below, a white penny tile floor finished with a dotted border brings in a little playful pattern.

Take a peek through the doorway, too, and you’ll spot one last round of scallops in the bunk room!

A Bedroom Framed in Arches

Talk about a stunning backdrop!

A landscape mural of leafy trees and soft clouds fills a row of arches behind the bed, and it gives the room such a graceful Mediterranean feel. It’s almost like looking out through a series of open windows onto the countryside!

A leather bed frame grounds all that artwork, and the duck print pillow tucked among the checked shams carries a little of the game room’s heritage spirit into this space.

See how the green from the mural shows up again in the linen drapes and the throw at the foot of the bed? It makes the color feel like it flows right off the walls.

At the end of the bed, a shearling bench adds the softest texture, with a pair of brass dome lamps sitting on either side of the headboard.

If you love the idea of a mural but want it to feel a bit more tailored, framing it within arched panels like this gives it so much structure and charm.
