Man Cave Furniture – 20 Comfy Chairs For Him That Aren’t Ugly
In this post I’m sharing man cave furniture…20 comfy chairs that aren’t ugly! My husband always says that he is good with my constant decorating and redesigning at home, just as long as he has a comfortable chair to lounge in. Sound familiar ladies? A few months ago I shared his disastrous man cave and you can see the TWO PLANS that were created for the remodel.
We still haven’t worked on this space for several reasons. Of course like everyone we have budgeting priorities and this room always seems to be put on the back burner. We really do need to get it done and the first step would be to replace all of the flooring in this part of the house. For now there is a comfortable (albeit worn) sofa from West Elm. Honestly I never sit in there so I turn the other cheek. I’ve been researching though and planning and instead of a sofa a comfy chair or two makes more sense for man cave decor. The first aspect of good room design is space planning and with a multipurpose tight space chairs work well.
I have always loved leather and faux leather furniture for it’s practicality and what can often translate to a more masculine look. Of all the comfy chairs that I’ve gathered today, this is hands down my favorite man cave furniture pick for him. Find this one here > Chloe Club Chair
There are lots of options for recliners these days that are not your grandfather’s chairs! This comfy chair above with the nailhead trim is budget friendly and is from Wayfair…one of my favorite places to shop. Find it here > Nailhead Manual Recliner
If your guy loves a big chair to take a nap in, this nailhead trip club chair is eye catching for his office or den. Find it here > Large Nailhead Club Chair.
Oh, the ugly chair dilemma! It has gone on in our family for 46 years, and so far I’ve lost the battle! My hubby is very tall and wants a high back for relaxing, so none of the attractive recliners fill that requirement. BTW, I had purchased the blue Queen Anne style you have pictured. It is a great price, but the fabric is very rough and a fur magnetic if you have pets. I got it because I had broken my leg, but it never would recline all the way back, hurtling me forward instead. Hope springs eternal though, and I enjoyed your post!
