Elegant French Style Christmas Decorating at the Beach House

I’m deep in the throes of decorating for the holidays at our home, and have some Holiday Housewalks coming up with other bloggers soon. Watch for one next week that will be part of the Holiday Entertaining series and I’ll be featuring a shoot from our beach home that is styled and set (with tips, but of course:-). Today is an exciting day for me, as I’m working with…

this guy (aka: the husband) at the Fort Lauderdale Home Show in partnership with Orchard Supply Hardware. I posted about my first visit to one of their stores earlier this week on the blog and we will be at the HOME SHOW to answer questions about DESIGN and CONSTRUCTION. My husband has been a high end remodeling general contractor in our area and will be celebrating 30 years of owning his company soon. Wow…where did those years slip away to when we were just young kiddos! If you are in the area we would love to see you!
Home Show Headshots

I have a few outtakes today from a photo shoot that you’ve never seen, of our beach home last holiday season. I was shooting for a piece in ROMANTIC HOMES MAGAZINE and some of these shots I just did to have for the blog. Like this guest bedroom with twin beds that frankly needs some NEW LINENS and some love. It’s difficult for us to do much redecorating there, since we just don’t seem to get there often enough!

Just in case you haven’t noticed, I’m big on faux fur stockings, lol. I purchased a bunch of them awhile ago and they are so much fun for the holiday season!

The master bedroom with a sprinkling of Christmas. I really don’t do much holiday decorating there, but I do think that you’ll enjoy seeing my HOME TOUR coming this Tuesday, so pop on over and SIGN UP FOR THE MAILING LIST if you want some exclusive free holiday printables that I’ve been working on creating for subscribers.
