Five Minute Styling Tips With HomeGoods Pillows and Art
There has been a lot of shopping going on in my world lately, and if you recall from a few posts back I have been working on an exciting design project that will soon have it’s reveal… In all honesty it’s been tough to get photos of the in~between stuff because it’s a 3 hour drive from here and I’m always pressed for time to get as much crammed into my days when there…
This is my own living room as it looked a little while ago earlier today…
Lots of white, and I know that not everyone is a fan of that…but I am and it truly is easy to live with because it all goes into the laundry. It HAS TO with three dogs living here!..
Driving the point home again that it’s so easy to switch up an all white or any neutral decor simply by changing out the pillows and a few elements…in FIVE MINUTES!…
I have been shopping at HomeGoods for that design job and thought that it would be fun to see how these blue pieces would look in here. Who doesn’t love a cushy throw and some new pillows…but alas they are temporary here and off to that beach home they go this weekend…
Loving this color and literally I pulled this look together in five minutes (minus the shopping time:-)…
These pillows from HomeGoods add a modern vibe and were so reasonably priced at $25 for a pair. Yes…per PAIR!
It is still summer and HomeGoods has plenty of coastal decor in all of their stores that I’ve been in recently…
The artwork is a canvas giclee (HomeGoods as well) and priced at just $25. I’m sorta loving the beach vibe in my living room right now!…
My beat up old Florentine nesting tables rescued from the trash and bits of glitz…
The painting seems to tie it all together and there is a flow from the mantel to the blue shutter to the pillows that carries the eyes. Something that I learned in art school that is so helpful when styling a room…
I love the simple touch of white baby’s breath…
And stepping back to see how things look…
I’ll be off to take these pieces to the design project on Friday and share more soon…
