French Country Fridays 13 | Blooms and Summer

I have to tell you that I’m completely confused! Coming back from vacation in the middle of the week is tough, and all day yesterday I thought that it was Monday. But here it is Friday and that’s my favorite day with the promise of the weekend and time to relax. The weather in Miami (where I live) did a little number during the two weeks that I was away and it’s now summer. That means lots of rain, hair frizzing humidity and far too many mosquitoes. Al fresco dining will be cut to a minimum and time in the air conditioning or in the pool will be the norm.

It’s time for French Country Fridays, with my friends who live all over the country. Let’s see what everyone has to share today and watch for some travel posts coming next week!

  1. Such beautiful images! Especially the top picture that I’ll venture a guess is from France! Oh yes, Miami has definitely barged its way into the rainy, muggy season! LOL! Thank you for sharing and glad you’re back safely!

WELCOME BACK JANET. The weather here in Northern Ontario is sunny but cold. It’s impossible to have plants out yet and even the dandelions have not emerged in their yellow glory to drive some landscape owners crazy. Personally they are the 1st Choice of bees so it’s been rough for all. However, the hummingbirds are back so there is hope.

    1. Thanks Linda! Summer is only a month away, so hopefully you’ll be enjoying some outdoor weather soon.

  3. Welcome home, Janet! This picture of the garden and pool at Kensington Gardens is lovely. Pinned to my Ethereal Gardens for you. <3 Glad you had a wonderful trip!

    Hugs,
    Barb 🙂
