Welcome to French Country Fridays, where you’ll find our weekly shares of French inspired home décor, products and other aspects of a French lifestyle!
Today we have another round-up of delightful lifestyle posts and I’m talking kitchens among other things. I can’t wait to get back into my own and in the meantime, I’m still cooking lots of meals in the temporary kitchen. You can learn more about that in this post and visit everything else below!
This is a very timely post and the image below is from our beach home kitchen. Several of you have asked me how our Miami home kitchen renovation is coming along and it’s getting there, but VERY slowly! We are keeping our fingers crossed that the countertops will be installed next week and then I expect it will be much faster to the finish line! Today I’m sharing a post from the archives and our experience with several of the current most popular countertop choices. Take a look via the blue link above.
Adding subtle fragrance to our homes can be one of the greatest pleasures of the day. See more in this post with 10 ways to do so.

One of our favorite designers is Suzanne Kasler who is always inspired by anything French. She how she incorporated several Paris flea market finds into this showhouse salon in the entertaining video linked above.
French Style Accent Chairs
We are renovated our family room now that it’s been opened up more to the new kitchen! I’ll be sharing more of that soon, but I’m on the hunt for accent chairs and came across several that I like. Wayfair is a source that I go to often and the Arlette Wide Armchair from Kelly Clarkson’s line looks so comfy and casual! Her line (if you’re not familiar) is exclusive to Wayfair and everything is French inspired! This Alto Wide Armchair by Kelly is a hit with shoppers and is one that I’m considering as well. Finally, The Bransford is another contender and I know that several of you have ordered this French inspired accent chair in the past! What is your favorite of these chairs? Leave your choice in the comments below!
