With the summer season now upon is, it’s time to take a look at our closets and streamline to what will work for the weather and our more simple dressing. While the heavier layers that we tend to wear in other seasons can be packed away, we still need the basics. Versatile essentials in terms of clothing, shoes and accessories that will be part of your summer capsule wardrobe and can be worn in different combinations. As I’ve mentioned in other fashion posts, I generally prefer black and white essentials. They can go anywhere and can be dressed up or down with accessories. It’s all that I took on my recent trip to Paris and always felt chic with my outfits of the day!

I’ve been truly delighted with the selection of clothing this season on Walmart.com for myself, my husband and my daughters as well! I always prefer the convenience of shopping online and trying things on in the privacy of my own home without being rushed to decide on what suits me. Walmart makes it very easy with fast shipping and an excellent return policy.

I’m thrilled to have my daughter who lives in California and her husband visiting us for a couple of weeks! Since I was shopping on Walmart, she took a look and I told her that I would treat her to a few pieces.

Then my husband came into the room and was impressed with the selection and brands that are available on Walmart. My husband has become a fan of the Walmart brand George and the items that he ordered are attractive, well-made and easy on the budget. He’s happy with his selections and what more can you ask for!

My prefered brand (and my daughter’s) is Time and Tru. The brand is exclusive to Walmart, the pieces run true to size and are timeless, hence the name!

We spend a lot of time in the pool during the summer to beat the heat! I’m wearing the slimming Time and Tru Women’s and Plus Ruffle Strap One Piece Swimsuit and the Tie-Front Coverup along with the Raffia Floppy Hat and Nature Sandals. Everything that I ordered from Walmart fashion was true to size and a great value!

I wear a lot of black and white in my own personal style. It suits me best in this stage in life and it’s easy to pair pieces together and then accessorize with color or accessories.
