HGTV-ing…A New Rug and A Special Place Called Sanibel

Saying ahhhhh…as I sit with the Gulf of Mexico as my view at the moment as we came over this weekend to give this Sanibel Island condo a few more touches and updates, like this…

new rug from Wayfair.com. It really anchors the room and brings out those pops of blue in the pillows and accessories from HomeGoods…
The sea, the sky and the sand are echoed in this beach home by the colors that we used, so as not to compete…

You might know that our family business is in high end construction, and we have been working in homes for over 25 yrs. It’s a word of mouth thing and has thankfully remained busy over the years, and that end of the business has no website or social media…
Hey…we were HGTV~ing before there was even an HGTV!

So much of what we have done here is typical, but this place I CAN share as it’s not typical in that it belongs to a family member and doesn’t require privacy as other clients do…

It’s a special place in our hearts, as we’ve been coming over here for many years and have been so happy to give it a new life…

We do not own it, we are not moving here…but we are preparing it for a long term rental for the owner…

A melange of memories have been made here and now it’s time to go forward…

As we set out the front door and down the driveway and are homeward bound…
