High Point Market Design Bloggers Tour – Day Two

Hello lovely friends and I hope that you enjoy day two of my tour of the High Point Market showrooms that I was thrilled to visit with the Design Bloggers Tour. I came away from this day with so much inspiration and so many ideas that I’m bursting at the seams (as always) to redo every room in my home, but realistically it’s not likely to be the case any time soon:-). Let me tell you what was trending and mostly what caught my eye on this day. I’ll be sharing a wrap-up segment soon…that will be so much fun!

Let’s start with CENTURY FURNITURE and this PINK leather sofa that everyone was dropping their jaws over! I mean…drool is perfectly fine since it’s leather, right?

I mean…whoa, stunning!

I’m in love with convex mirrors and this one from Century Furniture can really be used in any setting from FARMHOUSE to TRADITIONAL to COASTAL CHIC. Speaking of coastal, I have a video of the COASTAL inspired portion of the showroom for you below…

And then we were on to the UNIVERSAL FURNITURE showroom…

Lots of modern and shades of blacks, whites and greys mixed with textures of shine, metallics and lamb’s wool.

This is the sort of stool that I would mix into my home and it would go in master bedroom so nicely.

Ahhh HUNTINGTON HOUSE…you had me at RECLINER, because my husband has been casually mentioning that he would like one. Casually, as in…over and over and over!

We weren’t seeing Grandpa’s recliner here at Huntington House, but all styles from updated traditional to modern. It was sort of surprising to even figure out that these are indeed recliners.

I caught some of my fellow DESIGN BLOGGERS taking it easy:-) I think that was okay, because our feet were tired, tired from miles of walking the showroom floors.

THEODORE ALEXANDER was a gold-digger’s delight with a combination of styles in gilding like the tables above with mirrored finishes and more.
And a very special treat in meeting Charles Spencer, the 9th Earl of Spencer…who graciously gave a tour of the history of the family estate at Althorp and the impeccably finished Althorp reproduction line.

At WESLEY HALL we saw a showroom of fine craftsmanship and a line up of tastes for every home and lifestyle. They work with CRYPTON fabrics that are made to withstand family life and clean up with ease.

AMBELLA HOME is (for lack of a better word)…STUNNING! Each piece is stylish and up to date and details that don’t go unnoticed by those that appreciate fine workmanship. The pairing of lucite with velvet and the fabrics on the chairs are so different that they work together so well.

Pink button tufted velvet with a mid-century modern vibe and legs available in various finishes.
Unusual pairings and forward thinking are key to Ambella Home.
Catch up with me on PART ONE of the tour, and I’ll be sharing more soon with some of my favorites in a wrap up post coming your way soon!
Thank you to DESIGN BLOGGERS TOUR at HIGH POINT MARKET for taking me along with you once again!
I was compensated for this post by the above, but all thoughts are my own.
