Surprising Places To Find Home Decor On A Budget

Shopping home decor on a budget without driving yourself nuts can be a challenge! Today I’m sharing some surprising places to find home decor the savvy way and without compromising your wallet.

There are so many places to head out to and find gorgeous home décor, but sometimes those stores are not convenient nor affordable. Walking around a giant store to find what you need can take hours and I know that I often end up frustrated. For several reasons, stock is low and when you are looking for a specific item you often won’t find it. Murphy’s law! Shopping for home décor online can often be more cost effective and more certainly always more convenient than heading to the store. We are all so busy!
These online stores have a variety of home décor styles to fit your needs and budget. Some retailers have online sales and offer free shipping, making them even more affordable than brick-and-mortar stores. Plus, did you know that stores that have retail locations (eg. Target) carry many, many more items in their online website than in the brick and mortar locations? Yes…bingo! Perhaps it’s time to freshen up a room or give your home a mini makeover!

Lo Home

Fresh, preppy and young at heart, but don’t let my description cloud you! I have quite a few pieces from my friend Lauren’s amazing line and they are some of my favorites. Great price points and many pieces made in the U.S. by hand selected artisans.

Walmart
Walmart has everything and you might be surprised at all of the home decor that they carry! They have really upped their game lately in home decor and furnishings. This retail giant already specializes in low prices, but you can save even more on home décor by shopping some of their already low prices and sales. eBay
Have you looked at eBay lately? eBay isn’t just for auctions! You can buy tons of brand new and gently used goods without making a bid by paying the “Buy Now” price. I find pricing on eBay to be competitive and sometimes eBay has sales on specific home furnishing brands.

World Market
World Market offers home furnishings for shoppers on a budget, along with free shipping on purchases over $75. I have worked with this brand over the years and have quite a few pieces from them…including my French style dining chairs! Because this retailer only sells home products, you won’t have to sift through irrelevant categories to find what you need. Save 15% on your first order by signing up for their rewards club!

Pottery Barn
Pottery Barn’s items can be more on the expensive, but right now, you can save up BIG TIME on their sales! You can also get a discount by signing up for their newsletter, along with free shipping. I try to be patient and wait for the sale prices on Pottery Barn, which can be quite good!

Bed Bath & Beyond
Reserve your items online to pick them up for free at your nearest store. Otherwise, you’ll get free shipping on purchases over $39. There is also that famous 20% off coupon that Bed Bath & Beyond has had for years and I don’t think that it’s going away anytime soon. You’ll also find tons of options for bedding and home technology.

Urban Outfitters has some unique home décor items for sale. Their brand is based on hipster vibes, but they have plenty of items for my own style and probably yours as well. Be sure to check out the pillows, which are similar to what you might find elsewhere yet at better price points. Their website offers a wider selection on home furnishings than their brick-and-mortar stores and personally it’s a favorite of mine to browse and shop!

Bealls has stores across the United States, but I think that most of them are in Florida. Thankfully, they ship all over the country, so you can shop online for their huge selection of home décor.

Ladies…this site if fairly new to me and is just beautiful! I highly encourage you to take a look for yourself and see. Lulu & Georgia offers free returns and a 10% discount for first-time shoppers. Find rugs, pillows, and other décor on their website to give your home a sophisticated feel without the luxury price tag.
There’s no better time to shop online for home décor than right now. I was just at Target yesterday and it was so busy! Many retailers are hosting back-to-school sales. Of course, this usually means that your favorite stores will be crowded as Target was, giving you all the more reason to buy your furnishings online. You’ll thank yourself later for shopping smart!

*NOTE* – Read reviews, but take them with a grain of salt. There are those that tend to leave reviews ONLY if they have something negative to say.
