I am very happy that I found your blog and have been putting the ideas of you and your friends into my home space. You give an eighty year old joy everyday when I open your blog and visit with my friends. I liked the shelf above your washer and dryer. I also love wallpaper, but only have it in my bedroom now. Grass cloth is one of my favorites, having used it in the past. It is one of the easiest papers to remove when you want a change.

This was an exceptional Home Style Saturdays post! We moved into a 153 year old home in 1978, so you can imagine all the horrible wallpaper! after many years of FINALLY removing and painting, now wallpaper is slowly making its way back in to homes. I actually loved the wallpaper in the laundry room (Southern Hospitality). I did relent about a month ago, after refinishing my kitchen china cabinet, I wallpapered the back of it and it really makes my Hadley Pottery dishes pop!! I am in the process of printing the Porch Rules for my front porch, Thank you Ann of On Sutton Place!!

Although I commented the first day y’all put this out, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your response about your pea gravel walkways. They are so gorgeous and inspiring. I’ll have to let you know if it’s decided to go with pea gravel. My husband’s reservation is that it might be uncomfortable with bare feet. ???
