Homestyle Saturdays 135 | Easter Weekend Edition
Welcome to Home Style Saturdays, where we bring together posts relating to styling your home, DIYs, room updates and more!
Over here it’s going to be a very quiet Easter weekend with just the two of us. It’s fun to think about years in the past when the girls were growing up and all of the festivities, friends, Easter baskets, egg hunts and FAR too much candy consumed! I don’t mind the quiet most days and it’s nice to take a break with my husband from our busy working schedules. On the menu it’s not going to be anything traditional and I’ve planned a spaghetti dinner as a rare treat. We will be tackling hanging up a new chandelier as well, and I’ll share that with you soon! I’m also working on a new informative painting post, and painting is something that I’m often asked for tips about. What do you think of these nightstands that I painted?
Happy Easter weekend and please welcome our friend Beth from Homestyles A to Z as our special guest host today!

Hi Janet,
What paint did you use for those tables? It is a beautiful color! Love that! I have a similar one that was my grandmother’s and I’ve painted it white but I don’t like it. I’m thinking of repainting. I have the same handles too!! Blessings on this Easter weekend!
Love the tables!! We too will have a “just the 2 of us” Easter day, and decided we wanted to do a Thanksgiving meal! Turkey, stuffing, the whole nine yards!! I’m even making my famous Southern Banana Pudding! Have a blessed Easter Janet.. :)P
Is it possible to offer in your printables place cards and/or menu cards for a lovely table ?
the tables turned out beautiful!
