Whether your chosen Christmas color palette includes pink or any other shade, you don’t need a lot of it to make a statement! Most of us have either a standard green Christmas tree, a white Christmas tree or a flocked Christmas tree. I prefer something flocked and if you’re looking for a new tree then check out this recent post – Christmas Tree Buying Guide. I am finished decorating for Christmas this year and will be sharing my full HOLIDAY HOME TOUR soon. Pink Christmas Decorations – 5 Things To Add To Your Decor!

  1. Pine Cones

Honestly, what could be better for Christmas decor than pine cones? They are synonymous with Christmas and come from pine trees…so mostly everyone can find them or even purchase a bag full at a craft store! One of my most popular posts consistently over the years has been How To Paint Pine Cones – The Right Way. Of course I had to do pink and these pink pine cones are about 10 years old and still going strong!

The pink pine cones are so pretty in this table setting that I did a few years back. Painting them is a one and done affair! You can see more of the post here – Blush Pink On The Dining Table For Christmas.

On this mantel I added a few of the pink pinecones along with greenery and pink votives.

2. Pink Christmas Decorations – Ornaments

Such an easy way to add pink to your holiday decor and I like to use pink Christmas decorations such as ball ornaments for Valentines Day as well. Just group them in a bowl or as below (from a magazine shoot MANY years ago!) in apothecary jars! Read here for –  7 More Ways To Use Ball Ornaments!

These are all vintage Shiny Brites and I just love the old mercury glass Christmas balls! But they do have a tendency to break and in THIS POST I shared what to do if that happens. You won’t believe it!!

3. Pink Christmas Decorations – Linens

There is nothing like a cozy throw for snuggling up in and so why not make it faux fur in pink?!! That plus a glittery pink sequin pillow cover is all that’s needed to add some pink to the holiday season. Pink napkins and table linens are a beautiful touch as well!

4. Pink Christmas Decorations – Flowers

I’ve gotten some great mileage out of these pale pink poinsettias that found years ago at a church rummage sale. You can add pink poinsettias to a wreath (as I did) by simply inserting them into the wreath form…easy! Below I did the same with some of my pink poinsettias and draped pink wooden garland on the tree.

5. Pink Christmas Decorations – Ribbon

    1. Thank you Miche! Not much pink around here this year, but those pine cones last forever!

  2. I love all this pink, I can’t stop smiling. The mini Christmas tree is so doable. I have to go find my pinecones because they are about to be Pink! Thank you……

    1. Hope that you found your pine cones and good luck!

    What talent 🌹

  5. After I saw this I remembered I have some boxes of pink ornaments in a closet and about 10 pearl ropes from the 80’s. Got them out and a big bag of pine cones I had in the garage that my sister sent me from Michigan . Going to paint them pink and sprinkle with hot pink glitter. Can’t get any better than this. Really need some outdoor ideas that will not break the bank. Help, please.

    1. Hi Belle…check out today’s ornament post as well! As for outdoors, that’s generally my husband’s domain and he puts out tons of lights and refreshes the landscape a bit with white flowers! Not much else outside, but I hung a couple of wreaths on the double front doors.

  6. Beautiful, as always, Janet!
I love those touches of pink ideas… especially the pine ones and the faux fur throw! 💗

Very pretty Janet! You’re so talented.
Pink is very popular this Xmas here in the UK. Every shop has a pink selection.

  8. Janet, I’ve been enjoying all your holiday posts so far – but this one is just terrific. I love the photos – they’re so posh and luxe and I’m so impressed that you did them on the downscale expense-wise! I’ve always thought that one year I would do all pale pink, ecru and pale blue and haul out all my Marie Antoinette and Eiffel Tower and Paris and French memorabilia … but I just can’t bring myself to hide away all my other treasured collections for another whole year! LOL.

Thanks for the lovely photos. And that “fur” throw is tres luxueus!

  9. I love this post everything looks wonderful. I did those pinecone in pink with glitter when you posted it. I’m going to do this next year, I’ll just pick up some pieces throughout the year. Yeah, I love when a plan comes together. Thanks and have a blessed Christmas.

    1. I’ve had my own pink pink pine cones for probably 10 years now and they are the gift that keeps on giving! Merry Christmas to you and yours Diana 🎄❤️
