Seaside Splendor: Cozy Coastal Home Tour

Embracing the natural beauty of Orange 🍑 County, this tucked-away coastal home exudes a sense of tranquility and timeless charm, effortlessly blending relaxed coastal living with elegant sophistication.

From a soothing color scheme reminiscent of the local landscape to carefully curated artwork and furnishings, the interior design team thoughtfully crafted every detail to create a light-filled home that embraces both comfort and elegance.

The interior accents in this home reflect the ebb and flow of a seaside retreat thanks to the use of a coastal-inspired color scheme, natural textures, and nautical decor elements.

The result is an elegant home with a timeless elegance that feels fresh and airy, uncomplicated but refined.

Cozy Coastal Home Tour

Welcoming us in is the entryway. An antique bench settee, adorned with blue and white pillows and a throw blanket, pairs with the light-painted walls and coastal decorative elements.

Blue becomes an ever-present color in different hues, weaving its way through every corner of this cozy coastal home.

A mix of soft turquoise and ivory make up the color scheme, creating a sophisticated take on coastal living.

A distressed rug anchors a cream-colored upholstered chaise lounge that faces the fireplace.

There are a few touches that enhance this beachy vibe further, such as the blue glass bottles, seashells, and corals that are displayed on the fireplace mantel.

Cozy Coastal Home Tour – Kitchen Inspiration

Facing the dining space, the kitchen is all about practicality. Only a few elegant white and blue decorative dishes are displayed, beautifully contrasting against the crisp neutral background.

The dining chairs have a distressed light brown finish that complements the table and the Holophane pendant lights add a romantic rural flair to the whole space.

White and blue enliven the main dining room, where a striking collection of dishes in the chinoiserie style are the focal point. Floral curtains in the same tones add an extra touch of color, while the exposed wood of the farmhouse table and dining chairs incorporate a nice contrast.

The coastal-inspired elements echo throughout the home decor, including the dinnerware that features sisal placemats, white and blue plates, distressed candle holders, and floral arrangements in antique vases.

The family room opens to the kitchen and dining area, part of an open-concept space. Here, it’s all about a comfortable and relaxing space to enjoy time with loved ones.

A playful mix of white and blue patterned fabrics in the curtains, throw pillows, and blankets adds character to the all-ivory base.

The bedrooms have the same serene feel as the rest of the home, but the farmhouse-inspired furniture -like the distressed wood dresser and mirror- adds a warm touch and contrast to the peaceful room.

Chinoiserie vases, patterned white and blue bed duvet covers, soft blue curtains, and blue artwork give soft pops of color that add to the coastal vibe.

Blue outdoor chairs and puffs gather around a fire pit on this beach-style patio overlooking the stunning views.

A cobalt blue table lamp, chinoiserie vase, and floral arrangements displayed on a reclaimed chest of drawers in distressed finish next to a large fiddle leaf tree in a rattan plant pot sum up the beautiful decor of this cozy coastal home.

This home has such beautiful interiors. It’s all about timeless coastal allure with a little bit of rustic charm. What was your favorite room? Mine has to be the family room! Let me know in the comments below.

  1. Absolutely beautiful! I’d like to move in.

    1. Always fun to explore these home tours Jessie!

  2. Beautiful house tour! So glad to see China back to being displayed, which has not been the case in design as of late. I have so much BLUE, especially in china.
I wish I had the right restraint to just go with different shades of blue and white/cream! PERIOD. Maybe just a touch of brass or gold. An all-white kitchen accented w/blue china w/brass or gold faucet and knobs, pulls, maybe copper pans, but essentially blue and white. AHHHH…
Just can’t do it, somehow. There is always the green or the wine color making a seek appearance in accessories, etc.

    1. My kitchen is just that with blue, white gold and copper pans and then the green barstools S. Marie. Have you seen that reveal post?

  3. I want to be by the seaside now! (LOL)
Beautiful home, I feel uplifted. Thanks for sharing Janet
