“Hi! My name is Yvonne and I blog over at StoneGable. I’m thrilled to be here at Shabbyfufu today. Janet is a wonderful friend and a master blogger and decorator! Thank you so much for your friendship, all the beauty and grace I find on your blog, and for featuring me here today! You have been one of my blessings in this blogging journey.”
“It’s hard to believe I’ve been blogging for over 11 years. It’s been one of the best things I’ve ever done. StoneGable started out as a way to connect and help my newly married daughter as she set up her home miles away. Who knew I’d connect with millions of women who were so like-minded!“
“I am an empty nester living with my wonderful husband Bobby and our cat Hobbes. Our children and grandchildren do not live near us. I’m so thankful for Facetime!”
“StoneGable (the blog) was named after our previous home…our forever home.”
“Last year, actually almost one year to the day, we moved from our beloved forever home! I must be honest, I cried for weeks!!!! It was almost like a death. We had never planned to move but we found a home that was just so perfect for where we were in this season of life! So we downsized and moved to the Tanglewood House.”
WoW !! Beautiful… tHaNk. YoU. for sharing. WoW !!!!
Love this post! We are redoing a storm damaged home ,just starting our journey. Found lots of inspiration in your pictures!
Yvonne, Your home is lovely! Even though you downsized, your home looks very spacious. I love all the touches of soft oranges you incorporated in your fall decor!
Your home is beautiful!! 2 questions-where did you purchase your leopard rug and burlap type curtains from? Thanks
HI Emily, the rug came from Ruggables. It is stain resistant and has a separate waterproof pad. And it can be thrown in the washer and dryer if it gets too stained. With lots of family visiting and pets too this rug has been perfect for our dining room.
The curtains I think you are talking about in our sunroom came from Ballard Designs. They linen with little white raised dots.
Hope this helps!!
Hi Janet,
Thank you so much for including the Tanglewood home in your series today! YOU are very kind!!! I’m thrilled to be here today!
Your home is beautiful! It’s given me so much inspiration to find my decor finds. Thank you for sharing your Tanglewood home!❤️❤️❤️
Your home is so elegant, yet invoking a sense of calm, sweetness and hominess. What a talented home designer you are. I will keep this post to view it frequently and “steal” some ideas. Thank you for sharing your outstanding home.
Yvonne lives in my dream home! I love everything about the Tanglewood home but also loved Stone Gable!
Love all the changes you made to your new home! It is refreshing but looks like your design. My favorite ideas you show your followers is the impact of pillows, arrangements, rugs and flowers. The impact is remarkable and lovely. Jean
Everything is so beautiful. In the first pic, what color is the door? I love it. In the new house, what color/brand of white paint did you use? It’s perfect.
Everything is so lovely! I hope you’ll share a future post about the landscaping project. We just moved to a new home and will be starting from scratch in our yard next spring. I would love some ideas!
Hi Lizzy,
