When it came time for my vintage French Christmas, I wanted to go as big as I could, considering I knew I’d have to settle for a tabletop tree.

The mantle itself was adorned with realistic faux greenery, a reproduction of a 16th Century Italian nativity set, and a pair of antique candelabras from a little chapel in France.

On the largest of the tinsel trees, I strung vintage aqua mercury glass beads, and filled the urn with chandelier prisms around the base of the tree. Centered is a whitewashed nativity.
