Miami Christmas At Night Home Tour
Today I’m wrapping up the holiday season with my Miami Christmas at night home tour. We celebrate Christmas perhaps a little differently than in most places since at this time of year we live outdoors. As often as possible! Come join me and some friends as we share the lights and beauty of this special time of year and invite you in virtually!
As mentioned, today I’m joining some friends in a Christmas night tour hosted by my friend Rachel of Maison de Pax. If you’re coming over from the beautiful Wood Grain Cottage, I welcome you. I’m pretty sure that you won’t find another tropical tour here, so let’s get started on seeing our place lit up at night!
My Miami Christmas Home Tour At Night
In our tropical climate we are fortunate to be able to be outside in the winter months. As time permits we enjoy eating al fresco or just hanging out in the garden. This year gatherings are small and intimate and always outside. I’m grateful for that and for the fresh air.
If you’re new here, I want to tell you right off the bat that I’m a thrifty decorator who loves both DIY and vintage. Almost everything that I own has been curated over time and pieces are moved around as needs and seasons change. The centerpiece above was thrifted at a church rummage sale years ago and the wreath diy can be found HERE. Living in Miami, our Christmas home tour at night has been one of my favorites to share every year!
Moving on inside, the living room is elegant and simple in white.
With a French inspired interior it was easy to add simple touches of metallics, candles, twinkle lights and faux fur to cozy up with in the living room. For more of this room and how I decorated it this year for Christmas head on over HERE.
I’ve shared my home office decorated for Christmas HERE, but couldn’t resist this iPhone shot of Darby. Our animals all love the excitement of the holidays, even if not all of the family will be here this year.
The Master Bedroom
is probably my favorite room this year in the Miami Christmas home tour at night! For more on this room, head on over to visit THIS POST. You can see the pool out of the two sets of French doors and it all just gives a beautiful glow!
Another angle in the room.
I hope that you enjoyed this year’s night tour! Next in today’s line up is Julie Blanner, so head on over and then visit the rest of the tour when you have some time!

Just gorgeous, Janet! Merry Christmas!
Janet, your pool and the Christmas tree! LOVE all your outdoor photos and so envious you can celebrate Christmas dinner outside and have a swim, too. It’s too cold and snowy here in Massachusetts to do that! Merry Christmas! xx
Janet, I enjoy sitting down at the end of the day and looking at the beautiful idea’s that I can replicate. So glad I found your website.
Thank you so much Belle and it’s a pleasure to have you here! Happy Holidays to you and yours…Janet
It is so nice to be transported to a tropical Christmas environment! Your house and surroundings are so magical! Have a lovely Christmas.
Lovely! For many years we celebrated Christmas in La Quinta Ca. where we had a winter home. We finally sold it a few years ago, but still miss being there this time of year where it is warm and flowery. (We live in Colorado) Your outdoor table is so pretty and I am wondering what is the metal stand that holds the beads? So unique.
Thank you Jillian! The stand came from here – https://rstyle.me/+2pNsgoD8-1nSdEvDEaZhQQ
Beautiful as always Janet. Thank you for sharing.
A very Merry Christmas to you and yours and I look forward to your posts and tours for 2022!
Hi Janet. Loved this tour. There was one shot that showed the rail going above and across the table with pearl garland hanging off of it. My daughter is getting married in June and would love to do something like that to her tables. What did you use to do that and to anchor it. Just love that idea. As always, thanks for your inspiration
Thanks Cindy! It’s a great piece to have and here is my affiliate link – https://rstyle.me/+2pNsgoD8-1nSdEvDEaZhQQ
