Outdated counters were swapped with floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinets sporting elegant brass hardware, topped off with white marble countertops and a subway-tiled backsplash. Acrylic bar stools and vintage-inspired glass lights add an extra sparkle of glam.

Among a wealth of projects, Whimsical Beach House is one of my personal favorites. In this home, we can see his expert interior designer sense of aesthetics in action.

Grounded in a coastal-inspired style, the home radiates luxury while maintaining a laid-back appeal.

The play of vibrant hues—blues, yellows, and reds—woven through each room is a delightful touch, dominating in some spaces and appearing as subtle details in others.

This breakfast nook boasts whiteboard ceilings with light blue crown moldings, accentuated by a stunning wallpaper featuring a blue tropical pattern from Paper Mills.

The bright blue windows and doors complement the deep blue seating, creating a harmonious contrast next to the rattan chairs and refined natural wooden round table.

In one of the dining rooms, a light and breezy color palette takes center stage. Natural light becomes the main character, accentuating the coastal aesthetic which is highlighted by the blue tile floor, bistro chairs, and decorative nautical-inspired accents.

In the Kips Bay Show House interior designer project, Wesley Moon once again reveals his remarkable talent for crafting luxurious spaces that exude refinement, offering a perfect blend of coziness and openness.

The room used to look a bit out-of-date, dark, and without a clear style, resulting in a cramped and visually disjointed feel.

But with a skillful blend of color, layered textures, lighting, and thoughtful detailing, coupled with some eye-catching art pieces, Moon’s design not only highlights the building’s impressive features but also transforms the once-outdated room into a luminous and character-filled space.
