Eagle Shores: A picture perfect coastal style home you’ll love.

Right next to a lake in Dallas, a beautiful home designed by the studio M. Parker Design is a haven of natural light and calming breezes.

The beachy theme was part of the remodeling project directed by M. Parker Design. It incorporated natural elements from the outdoors, including elegant coastal colors and textures.

Remodeling your home can often be the perfect excuse to indulge your wildest decorating whims. But, sometimes a more classic approach is best.
And the remodeling project at Eagle Shores is the perfect example of how to do it right. It stands as a spot-on example of how to strike that rare balance between beachy elegance and relaxing comfort with high levels of sophistication.

Eagle Shores – Coastal Style Home Staircase Entryway:

In the entryway, we can appreciate a casual comfort with a splash of sophisticated deco. The designers have added the right amount of details to level up the space without removing the quintessential relaxed feel of the beach home.

Facing the stairs, there’s a bamboo and rattan sofa with emerald green pillows that give off a 70’s style vibe. This rich green shade is echoed across the room in vases and table lamps.

The rustic elements mix perfectly well with the more traditional and elegant details like the white trimmings and staircase handrails. The jute carpet gives a craft-inspired touch thanks to its hand-made details. The carpet was also used in the stairs, creating a sense of harmony.

Small Coastal Powder Room

Decorating powder rooms can be tricky. In such small spaces making a statement design can end up making the room feel cramped and hinder its purpose. But, here we have a perfect example of how to do it right without compromising style!

The stunning coral wallpaper with geometric rounded shapes merges tribal patterns with art deco, making it the main focus. A classic white pedestal basin, matching bench, and tapered mirror accentuate the coral wallpaper.

A Transitional Kitchen with a Coastal Style Decor

The open concept kitchen and dining room are transitional in style, with a pale green color that looks great against the dark wooden floors, jute carpet, and white cabinetry.

In the kitchen, the decorator added a more luxurious feel by using Carrara white marble on both the backsplash and in the countertops. Above the kitchen island hangs a tier of three pendant lights. Additionally, a zinc oven, range, and matching hood range give the space a more industrial feel.

The Coastal Style Home Main Sunroom

Inspired by coastal elegance, all the sunrooms in this home will make your heart skip a beat!

The architects capitalized on the house location, which offers a direct view of the lake, and built different sunrooms across the home. Thanks to large white windows, bringing the outdoors in and turning into the rooms’ focal point.

Working in sync, the decorating style manages to enhance the serene mood while adding a playful -almost eclectic- touch.

Transitional & Eclectic Living Room

In this living room, the decorators took advantage of the spacious setup to showcase mismatching patterns and textures. This combination of low-saturated soft hues and geometrical patterns with splashes of accent colors created an inviting and fresh space.

Grandmillennial Green Bedroom in Beach Style Home

A light minty green color takes center stage in this bedroom design.
Similarly to the other rooms in this house, the patterned wallpaper sets the mood from the go, giving this room a serene, yet fresh atmosphere.

Private Sunroom Design

My favorite is the private sunroom attached to the main bedroom. Here, the serene color scheme of blues, yellows, and pale greens is just… dreamy.

The soft mustard yellow sofa along with the accent bamboo chairs in white with sage green pillows add an elegant freshness to the space.

The table lamps, vases, and matching books in different blue shapes go beautifully with the more rustic textures like the jute carpet and bamboo pendant light.
A set of accent chairs completes the room by bringing all the colors together in a bold, but playful print.

Eclectic White and Blue Coastal Bedroom

The centerpiece of this coastal bedroom has to be the whimsical wallpaper, with its dainty blue and white pattern. The curtains feature the same colors and a similar, larger pattern, and pop against the light wood shades of the bed and white side table.

The accent details tie in with a gallery wall of round mirrors, a dark blue drawer, and a lampshade.

Serene & Chic Bathroom

Bathrooms like this one are a great way to add color, style, and pattern to your home. The classic look of the vintage-style bathtub pairs well with the delicate turquoise walls and subtle turquoise accents scattered throughout the space.

The white furniture offers plenty of storage for all of your toiletries, while a sophisticated ottoman and sleek faucets add the final touches to this relaxing bathroom.
