Affordable Fashion Picks For Fall + Plus Sizes Finds!

If you’re looking for affordable fashion and fall inspiration, read on! I’m sharing my new favorite Walmart fall pieces and I’ve got you covered (no pun intended:-) if you are looking for some gorgeous plus-size finds. I’m sure you’ll love them all friends!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I’m on the hunt for pieces to revamp my fall capsule wardrobe and I found some incredible ones at Walmart, so I’m back with round two of my fall favorites!

As I gear up for the season’s change, my focus has been to spruce up my wardrobe with fall-appropriate and timeless pieces that also incorporate some of this season’s trends. Dark florals, faux leather, and muted animal prints are trending this season, so I wanted to incorporate some of these trends into my fall outfits too!

Fall weather can be a bit unpredictable (especially for us living in warm climates!) That’s why I’ve handpicked items that will help to navigate the transition smoothly. From layering basics to more cozy options, these pieces have got your back to look chic and in vogue!

I’m all about versatile and high-quality staples that can be dressed up and down, and these fashion finds are a perfect fit 😉

That’s one of the reasons why Walmart is one of my go-to’s when it comes to finding good quality pieces with budget-friendly price tags. And, of course, Walmart’s online shopping experience and return policies are one of my favorites, but you probably already know as I’ve raved about it.

This time around, I got a set of 2 crewneck sweatshirts. These are uber-soft and comfortable, and as you can see, you can wear them with heels and pull-on pants for a more elevated look like me. Or, you can pair them with leggings and sneakers for a more athleisure-style outfit.

Another basic staple I got was this pack that comes with a cami, a thermal shirt, and a shirt with long sleeves. Just perfect to layer under your fall outfits! 

Cardigans and jackets are maybe one of the most important foundation pieces for fall outfits. A cable knit open cardigan is both a timeless and statement piece, as well as a denim jacket or a trendy shacket, like this corduroy one in the lovely Cinnamon Spice color. (Can you get more autumn vibes than that? I think not!) 

Because I loved the animal print tiered dress I recently got from the brand Time and Tru, one of my favorite brands ever!) I went back and got this cute knitted tiered dress in black. It comes with a removable tie but I like it more without it, it has a more relaxed feel and the cut is so flattering.
I paired this cozy muted green cardigan and these loafers. These are so pretty and the block heels are super comfy! As a note, I’m wearing a medium (and am 5’3 ish) in the Time and True line and everything is true to size.

Sofia Jeans by Sofia Vergara is another brand I recently discovered and I’m loving their collection! This dress and cardigan set caught my eye. It’s made of a medium-weight knitted fabric which makes it a great piece for fall that you can dress up or down.
For a laid-back everyday look, I would pair this dress with knit loafers or ballet flats and opaque tights.

By now, you know I’m more into neutral for everyday wear and I like to add color to my outfits with accessories or a third piece. I found this mini tote featuring a lovely plaid pattern with warm hues I just couldn’t resist. It’s so perfect for the season! 

If you also love to wear plaids, you could opt for this cute (and practical) button-up dress shirt is also a wonderful choice. 

Plus Size Affordable Fashion Finds

Let’s talk about plus-size options! I know many of my readers look for plus size recommendations and I’m delighted that Walmart has such a great range of plus size options! Here are some of my favorites.

For those who love the dark and moody floral trend, this is your time to shine. This dress by Terra & Sky is stunning, isn’t it? It features a smocked bodice and a tiered skirt which makes it not just universally flattering but also perfect for the fall weather. It comes in different colors and patterns, but this black and purple one has such a lush feel to it I just had to let you know about it!

A romantic flowy top, like this one, is a lovely way to sport the moody floral trend in an everyday outfit, or this blouse with a tie-neck. Just pair it with skinny jeans, booties, and a jacket and you’re ready to go.

This wrap dress is a sleek and chic choice, perfect for an elevated date night outfit that’s also comfortable to wear.
If you want something more lightweight to transition out of your spring outfits, this charming short-sleeved midi dress is another great pick. You can easily make it work for the chillier days ahead with a cardigan and some loafers.

It’s the sweater season, so of course, a knitted dress like this mock neck one is a fall essential!
For basics, Walmart offers so many options in the plus size section! You can find elevated basics, like this cable knit sweater, a pack of long-sleeved shirts, and even a practical, and cute hoodie and jogger set.
