Today we’re touring the Hedgefield home, designed by Leandra Fremont-Smith Interiors.
This is a stunning home that effortlessly blends a quintessential beach style with traditional elements, creating a sophisticated and lively take on these two decor styles.
What sets Hedgefield apart is its skillful use of patterns, found in accent walls, pillows, and rugs throughout the home. This, along with the light-filled spaces, creates a vibrant and youthful energy that adds a modern twist to traditional beach house design.

Hedgefield Home Tour
The family room exemplifies the fun approach to the coastal aesthetic of this home.
Various blue shades bring together an eclectic room where geometric patterns and textures complement each other beautifully.
Orange and blue is such a striking color combination when it’s done right, isn’t it? I love it, especially since those are the colors of my alma mater (University Of Florida)!
Beach Style Home Tour – Living Room
The main living room has a more classic feel to it and I love it.
Ivory sofas and armchairs are complemented by throw pillows adorned with light blue patterns that harmonize with the carpet’s design.
The bamboo light filtering shades add an organic contrast and pair with the rattan armchairs, too.
These lovely raffia scalloped slipper chairs next to the navy console table create such a magical corner!
This room balances geometric patterns with soft, curved lines in some of the furniture perfectly.
The informal dining room boasts a Palm Beach Regency style, highlighted by cream, light blue, and green patterned wallpaper. Light blue upholstered chairs, dark wood tables, raffia area rugs, and floral arrangements add to the relaxed but glamorous design.
A unique collection of framed bird illustrations adorns the staircase, complemented by the green color accents.
In the casual dining area, a playful fish mobile hangs above the table, which immediately draws the eye. With French bistro chairs featuring red accents and Roman curtains adorned with lemons, this room exudes a fun and relaxed vibe.
Sky blue cabinets with black marble countertops make the kitchen a striking sight. Little details, like the plaid backsplash and red hanging lanterns, are unexpected touches that bring the look together.
Beach Style Home Tour – Kitchen
In the main bedroom, the concept of colorful elegance comes to mind.
The green hardwood floors, white furniture, and the arabesque floral pattern in light purple that replicates in armchairs and pillows.
In the other bedroom, we find a similar style but with a more romantic twist.
The kids’ room is all about old-world charm. Bright blue twin beds sit atop a striped rug in blue hues.
A simple desk and chair combo in white and natural wood adds to the breezy feel of this room.
Crafting a whimsical corner, a white and red-patterned wallpaper blends harmoniously with white wainscoting panels.
To top it off, charming paintings of seaside scenes and a reclaimed vintage wood chair complete the arrangement.
A decadent circus tent-style ceiling in the beach-style sunroom steals the show from the get-go.
Complementing this focal point, the room features white and red curtains, as well as blue-hued pillows and rugs, marring an eclectic look with classic elements.
The bathroom aligns with the rest of the home in terms of style, featuring striking wallpaper in bright blue and white.
A white cabinet and mirror, coupled with a marble countertop, enhance the coastal vibe.
The porch is absolutely charming with whicker armchairs and sofas layout throughout, creating the perfect spot for enjoying the surrounding nature.
