Beautiful Spring Decorative Items For Any Living Room
I love how this looks and had to wait until the morning to work on the project when the light was streaming into the living room. It took me about 15 or 20 minutes to complete. And yes, you can add so many other things to branches as well. You’d be limited only to the weight of the branches and your imagination. Isn’t thinking up decorative items for your home fun?
Before any decorating ideas start, coffee first!
But first…it was morning and I needed my coffee fix. This was a recent gift and I didn’t feel right in asking where it was from, but I love it!
I hope to soon be creating some similar coffee mugs for the shop at SHABBYFUFU. I’ve been offering you FREE digital downloads {sign up for the newsletter to have access to those:~}} and feel like they would be perfect for mugs and pillows…What do you think?
This past week Trader Joes finally had some ranunculus in for spring and I was so excited to grab all of the white bunches that they had! Although I’ve been yearning for pink, it’s looking like they won’t have them any time soon {insert~crying emoji}.
Using glass objects as decorative items for your home
I filled some glass cylinders and added just a few other things to the mantel. Who knows, I may change it up later! I love styling this way with non~permanent pieces from my stash and florals.
More decoration items to consider for your living room decor
A vintage birdcage is perfect for spring, and I have several. I dressed up the mantel with some sparkle from mercury glass candle holders that I use effortlessly for every season.
Drying flowers as a decorative item for your home
If you notice the reflection in the mirror of the French wire cabinet with the crate on top you’ll see how I dry my flowers! As I said, nothing special…just toss them {ok, CAREFULLY place them!} into a crate with a fabric liner and keep them in a cool, dry spot…
Wonderful
It is Devine I love those light bulb moments and love the out come. Oh by the way if you are ever in Texas around this time or in the fall check out Round Top/ Warrenton antique, junk, vintage treasures market omg you can walk it and not see everything.
It looks lovely Janet, so soft and pretty.
Looks beautiful! And the best thing was how long it took! Simple and easy.
Great idea Janet…My hubby is now on alert…not to throw out any branches unless he clears it with me!!!….those pink leaves are the cutest and the mantel….well….just divine!!!
So lovely Janet – love it all! Especially the hyacinth! I never, ever see that here in So Cal and I'm not sure why. The branch idea is great – I love the look in the room and the airiness of it!
Have a great week!

Your mantel looks awesome. My local grocery store never carries cool flowers like ranunculus. 🙁

I love the large branch that you saved from the trash. It is perfect and your flowers on the mantle are very inspiring. One of the best really.
Your mantel is GORGEOUS-and I adore that pretty pink bench! PINNING!
So pretty! Love the pink bench and the pretty flowers on the mantel. Wonderful!
Your spring living room is so sweet and pretty! Thanks for sharing it at Motivation Monday on Mom Home Guide!
I understand the seasonal change! Like you, I am now working on more indoor projects. I still have a few things to finish up outdoors, but soon comes the time to stay inside. I have some home decor sewing projects planned this month because of the heat.
We, too, are enjoying what will surely be a very short Spring, and then we will jump with both feet right into triple digits……unlike Florida, we do have a very dry heat! That's really no joke. We often have humidity in the single digits….lots of creaming going on with this body! Love your idea, and I've managed to catch a few of those branches and twigs, but so often my hubby is just too fast for me and they end up being all cut up! I think your mantel is stunning!
THis is simply lovely…thanks so much for the spring decor inspiration and for sharing it on the Motivate Me Monday link party
I just love visiting your blog-it is so pretty! Love this post. Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty
