Hi friends! As Christmas week is now here and we are all so busy with our lives, I wanted to thank you for your support this holiday season and gather together some last minute inspiration for you today! This year has literally flown by and I am counting my blessings, remember the great times (and the not so great times) and planning for the year ahead. Amazing opportunities have come across the table here in 2016 and cheers to the time of the year that I enjoy the most. But the year isn’t over yet…so more on that sort of thing later:-)

This weekend was a quiet one in our home, and we did some cleaning and sprucing up and simply enjoying the decor that I put together over coffee and wine. The living room seems to be…
the favored room in the house this year with the faux fireplace all aglow with twinkle lights behind the French headboard turned firescreen. Fur stockings are hung with care and now be filled with small gifts and tiny trinkets. For the full post on what I did to decorate in the living room, you’ll find that in THIS POST

I’ve photographed and written a plethora of posts geared to the HOLIDAYS this year, more than ever it seems. Today I’m sharing a guide or wrapping it up to make it easy for you to see more:

I did a FACEBOOK LIVE VIDEO on Saturday that showed you how I put together this thrifty look in our MASTER BEDROOM on a budget and it’s the same white tree that I’ve had for several years now and repurposed.

Christmas at the BEACH HOUSE is done in blues and whites and there is never a chance of snow there, so it’s achieved with flocking. I love this new rug and tree and you can see the FULL POST to learn more.

This was shot last year for a piece in ROMANTIC HOMES MAGAZINE and I’m looking forward to hosting CHRISTMAS DINNER here again this year. It’s a little bit of a challenge to cook and serve at the beach because I don’t have much in terms of kitchen gear up there…so recipes will be easy to do and entertaining will be simple in style. See more about this styling HERE with tips on the look.

copper gold pink christmas

Our dining room at home had a theme of BLUSH PINK in very softly muted doses and this wreath was one that I repurposed from the past. A little bit of a special spray paint, faded pink silk vintage poinsettias and some GOLD LEAFING brought this into the new ages for me:-).

The tree is one that I received this year from TREE CLASSICS as part of a HOLIDAY HOUSEWALK with friends and I talked about how I decorated it some more in THIS POST with tips on styling.

You’ll see lots of PINK PEONIES in my CHRISTMAS 2016 posts, because they were available in our markets! I’m still kind of in shock about that, because our selection of florals here is generally dismal indeed. I shared the bouquet above in an EXQUISITE HOME TOUR with friends and although my kitchen maybe isn’t as new or updated as the other bloggers it works for us and I think that you’ll LOVE THE POST.

The WINTER WONDERLAND CHRISTMAS look that I shared at the beginning of the season is one that I’m pinning and saving in my own files for future reference. With a little bit of greenery, a dash of flocking, a smidgen of faux fur, a scattering of pinecones and an abundance of candles it does NOT have to be expensive to recreate something similar in your home.

I’m all about creating an elegant pared down look for less and will be focusing on more of that and projects to share in 2017. I’m getting back to my VINTAGE roots as with the ornaments above and lots more in terms of PALE DECOR as in THIS POST from the past.

It’s time to do some gift wrapping and grab another cup of coffee. I do my gift sorting and wrapping up on the bed, so I’ll be keeping that coffee cup filled to the brim! Coming your way this week is a post that I’m working with HOLIDAY COCKTAILS and a NIGHT TOUR of my home. This post may contain affiliate links and there is no cost to you.
