Welcome back to another edition of our home tour series! This time around, we’ll be visiting a stunning apartment in the coveted New York area of Tribeca. Designed by the talented team of McGrath II, this renovation project is simply exquisite. McGrath II is an interior design firm combining the creative visions of the mother/daughter team of Suzanne and Lauren McGrath. Let’s dive into this Tribeca home tour as we break down the details that will hopefully give you some inspiration if you enjoy this style!

What drew my eye to this Tribeca home tour is the artful play of classic patterns and the elegant color palette. The designers have hit the perfect note, mixing traditional elements with a modern edge.

The outcome? Interiors that feel up-to-date while carrying timeless elegance. This brilliantly curated home proves that chic design and comfort aren’t mutually exclusive.

Let’s have a look and get inspired, shall we?

The way the designers have divided the spaces by using only colors to separate the areas in this open-concept space is just brilliant!

The room’s color scheme is a sophisticated merge of blues, whites, and warm neutrals, with pops of mustard yellow and green adding just the right amount of warmth and contrast.

A striped area rug grounds the seating area, with its graphic pattern adding a modern edge to the more traditional furniture pieces.

Armchairs in various textures and hues beautifully complement it, from a paisley print to solid creams and whites. The clever use of built-in shelving and a mix of modern and traditional lighting fixtures further emphasize the room’s transitional style.

Thoughtful accessories, including artfully arranged books, ceramic vases, and fresh greenery, add layers of texture and personality to the space.

Facing the kitchen, there’s the dining area that features a sleek black round table with stream-lined upholstered chairs.

Next to it, there’s another sofa flaked against the blue grasscloth-dressed wall, in an eye-catching white and blue pattern. Organic textures add a rich contrast to balance the tone-on-tone design.

White cabinetry, marble countertops, and wood floors make this sleek kitchen. A glass-front cabinet showcases a pretty crockery collection and a large island anchors the space.

Fresh greenery and a globe pendant light add character to this functional yet stylish cooking area.

In one of bedroom, the design artfully marries bold patterns with refined neutrals. The striking botanical wallpaper is a dramatic backdrop, while the rust-toned upholstered headboard warms up the overall space.

Clean-lined bedding and tactile textures -such as the jute rug- balance the visual intensity of the walls, making this bedroom feel both cozy and vibrant with creativity.

In the main bedroom, there’s a perfect blend of traditional elegance and modern comfort.

The soft green floral wallpaper sets a calming tone and is complemented by the crisp white bedding and mint accents.

Those bold patterned armchairs add a playful touch without overwhelming the space.

The primary bathroom has such a luxurious vibe! Subtle touches of pale green soften the crisp white palette, creating a spa-like room.

Topped with lustrous marble, the expansive vanity is a perfect example of an elegant yet functional design. I really love the wall of framed mirrors, flanked by sparkly sconces, which helps to amplify light and create an illusion of more depth.

There’s a lovely blend of youthful energy with sophisticated design in this charming twin bedroom.

The soft blue walls create a soothing backdrop for the vibrant accents of fuchsia. There’s a charming and colorful dynamic of patterns. For example, the Roman shade’s floral pattern is replicated in the throw pillows while the subtle geometric print of the upholstered headboards contrasts against it.

It is a perfect space that can easily adapt as the youngest members of the family grow from childhood to adolescence.

This little powder room is one of my favorite rooms! The speckled wallpaper has such a playful vibe, while the navy wainscoting balances it out.

A sleek marble vanity and classic fixtures nod to tradition, yet the style is modern with a bit of whimsy.

That wraps up our tour of this stunning Tribeca home. Which room caught your eye? Leave a comment below!

The living, dining and kitchen. Love the funky sofa. This is a great transition from shabby to modern style.
