French Country Fridays 2: Antiques and Collectibles
French Country Fridays is back with another edition this week and we have so much to share in our new series! You’ll find so much talent in this group and we have that common bond of loving all things French. If you are new here I am the Florida girl of the bunch and love to be outdoors, especially at this time of year.
My post below is about just that…how we built this modest pea gravel patio based on our trips to France. Scroll down to the bottom to read more. I’m in the long process of organizing my website (it’s a process!) but if you too are a Francophile you’ll find a plethora of posts by going to the search bar on the right and entering the word “French”. From Christmas decor to table-setting ideas to French antiques…you’ll find it all there. As I write this post I’ve just finished my weekly French lesson with my teacher and friend Laurence and I’m still talking in French dans ma tête!

Hi Janet! I have been loving your series this week! So many beautiful images! All of these bloggers have such a beautiful style! I have found ideas I want to try from each one of them but with my coastal style! I do love French things though! I took French in college and can still speak it a bit. I can read it better than speak it. What an awesome thing to be taking French lessons! Love it! Have a beautiful day!
Adieu!
Thank you Babette…I mix that coastal style in as well and basically whatever I enjoy! Have a great weekend…
Janet
HI Janet love your French Country Friday’s!

Hello Janet I so look forward to the girls and your décor ideas, I’m loving Anita’s cloche. Your outdoor table setting looks fab, it’s amazing what a few leaves, twigs and fairy lights can do. Coffee and cake turned into a romantic setting; a special occasion; brilliant – thanks for passing this tip along I’m a young 69 and intend to copy your idea this weekend, turning supper into pure indulgence.
