Welcome to the ALL NEW French Country Fridays, the series that will inspire you to “Frenchify” your Friday! Bonne année et bonne santé à vous mes amis! I can’t believe that it’s New Year’s Eve tonight and it will be a quiet one around here. We have never really been big on New Year’s eve celebrations and plan on ordering dinner from a favorite restaurant and perhaps watching a movie. How about you? Let’s get into our last blog post of the year!

From creating rustic, provincial farmhouses to elegant and downright luxurious culinary spaces, the French have a knack for styling eye-catching looks that are functional, timeless, and uniquely their own.
In an extract from her book ‘Living Life Beautifully’, Cabbages & Roses founder Christina Strutt introduces her ‘perfect country cottage’ in Somerset.
With their impeccably undone appeal and nonchalant aesthetic, the French carry an air of sophistication without looking like they even tried. It’s incredibly appealing and totally achievable, regardless of where you find yourself in the world.
