A Little Of My Parisian History & More – French Country Fridays 292

Welcome to French Country Fridays, the series that will inspire you to “Frenchify” your Friday!

I will always have an affinity for French style living and I believe that it all started many years ago.You see, we have family that goes back a couple of generations in France and I first visited when I was 14 years young. I had the opportunity to live with my Parisian cousins for 3 months over the summer, without my parents and without speaking a word of French! While it was a bit overwhelming at first, I have always been independent and learned to navigate Paris while my cousins worked in the family business during the day. My own days became filled with museum visits, store wanderings, flea market forays and bringing home the baguettes for a family dinner. By the time I came back to the U.S. I was hooked! Also, I picked up the challenging task of learning at least some of the French language. Now…on to the post!
