Home Style Saturdays 182 | Adding Simple Beauty To Your Home
Welcome to Home Style Saturdays, where we bring together posts relating to styling your home, DIYs, room updates and more!
If you’ve been following me for any length of time then it comes as no surprise that I’ve always been about living beautifully. Our homes are our nests and during these trying times, more than ever. It can be as easy as some grocery store flowers, as appreciated as a new piece of furniture or a painting or the simple touch of a craft made from scratch! I’m sharing a post from the archives today on how to make paper pom poms and once again…no glue gun required. Happy weekend everyone!

When I was much younger, many years ago, we made these pom flowers for wedding cars. We would tape them to the car the couple would ride in and the wedding party cars! A pretty sign saying “Just Married” attached on the trunk. After the wedding, before the reception, they would drive down the main street of town, honking horns to announce the newly married couple! It was quite a scene…but unfortunately, no one does it anymore. How times have changed!
