Choosing Colors For A Spring Table Setting

Welcome to Home Style Saturdays, your weekly on-line magazine! Today most of us are on the same page so to speak with spring inspiration! I’m talking about Choosing Colors For A Spring Table Setting and you can click this link or head to the bottom of the page and find it there. EVERYTHING is in bloom here this far south and I’m really suffering this year with hayfever something fierce! I’ve tried everything from natural remedies to nasal sprays, Zyrtec, netipots and more. If you have any ideas please do share in the comments…I would love to know and surely I’m not alone in this. Happy weekend!

  1. Have you tried Alavert for your allergies? It’s an over the counter, dissoluble tablet. Helps with drippy nose and watery eyes. Also doesn’t interfere with other medications.

    1. I had not heard of that one Johanna, but when I looked it up it appears to have the same ingredients as Claritin (loratadine). I didn’t find Claritin to be effective for me in the past, but maybe worth a shot at trying again!

  2. Janet try fexofenadine 180mg. It sits next to Allegra and it is cheaper and better. I had a terrible time with most allergy medicines. I found this to be perfect and it works. I have terrible allergies and hate medication. Try it, it will work and no side effects.

    1. I will look for that Diana, but in just researching I found this: Fexofenadine is available under the following different brand names: Allegra, Allegra Allergy 12 Hour, Allegra Allergy 24 Hour, Children’s Allegra Allergy, and Mucinex Allergy. Thanks for letting me know as I should probably rotate the allergy meds and switch to something else. The nasal sprays just make me cough! xoxo

  3. Sorry about your being miserable with the allergies. Nothing in Maine is even THINKING about blooming yet. I seem to be allergic to spring pollen–pine, maple, rhododendrons, etc. I avoid outside. An air filter for your home may help, too–and convincing someone else to help with the vacuuming! I have had problems with “rebound”-ing–my sinuses overreacting to my efforts to dry them out–something to be aware of!
