I’m not fully into fall with the extreme So Florida heat, so today I’m sharing Tips For Downsizing & Layout Plans For Smaller Homes and it has some hand drawn layouts if you’re looking at downsizing in the future. I know that for us, should we decide to sell our big home one day we will have to majorly downsize! We shall see what the year ahead holds, but have been considering this. I live in a small home with a very small living room and a narrow dining area (think 50s style ranch). I appreciate any styling tips for small rooms. My entertainment center becomes a “mantel) and my hutch is the only surface I decorate in the dining area, plus a centerpiece on the table. However, when I entertain with a meal or tea party – a tablscape is varied and delightful! Thans for inspiring us small home decorators.
Barbara…thanks for sharing about your entertaining ideas! Although our home is large, it’s a ranch style and built in the early 60s with no formal dining room. Our eating area is also small and a vintage dresser serves as our buffet. We just learn to make our spaces work for us I think! Glad you stopped by.
