Home Tour: Luxurious Modern Residence in Charlotte

Welcome back to a new Home tour edition! We’ll be exploring a little gem I discovered recently, New Manor Residence in the Charlotte, NC area. Designed by Whitlock Builders, this home caught my eye for its thoughtfully curated spaces that mix contemporary and traditional elements.

There’s a blend of contemporary aesthetics with traditional details, creating interiors that are not only stylish but also classic, with a touch of dramatic flair.

From a captivating color scheme to eye-catching decorative wall paneling, this home showcases sophisticated and thoughtful design choices that come together effortlessly.

Let’s grab a cup of tea and start our home tour, shall we? Don’t forget to scroll to the end to see the gorgeous outdoor spaces!

Home Tour: Sophisticatedly Modern New Manor Residence

In this transitional living room, the color palette boasts delicate grays, cream, sand, and gentle green.

The room features a blend of classic furniture and modern elements, like cushy seatings and side tables along with an oversize sisal woven rug that adds a layer of texture to the entire room.

Stone walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, and cushy seating help to create an inviting space.

The gorgeous structure detailing elevated the sophisticated but simple dining room. The use of neutral colors and soft fabrics makes this space feel so serene!

I love the symmetry used in the buffet sideboard composition! The stunning artwork framed with delicate lamps on each side is such a simple but elegant design choice.

There’s a more modern feel to the kitchen, with a more minimalistic style where the focus point is the stunning dark wood table and matching upholstered chairs.

Throughout the home, arched details seamlessly connect each room.

The hallway is just gorgeous, isn’t it?

The arched walls and columns in the hallway are just gorgeous. The pendant lanterns with dimmed warm lights definitely enhance them, creating an old-world ambiance.

In one of the many charming corners of this home, there’s a little home office with the essentials. Such a lovely spot to sit down and write your thoughts while enjoying the stunning outside views, isn’t it?

In one bathroom, the Carrara marble basket weave flooring and creamy walls create a modern space that is simple but stylish.

The powder room is another example of how the arched detailing is the main character in this home. The arched nook and fluted walls create a dramatic effect with just a floating marble vanity.

In the main bathroom, things get more opulent with a luxurious bathtub placed next to a wall-to-wall window. We can see the same Carrara marble basket weave in a gentle light blue, both on the walls and the floor. It’s such a luxurious room!

This bedroom exudes coziness with an upholstered bed, layered bedding, and carpeted floors. Delicate touches, such as botanical illustrations and a wrought iron chandelier, add a softness to the space.

Boasting bespoke craftsmanship to keep everything perfectly organized along with luxurious ottomans for more comfort, both walk-in closets are a total dream!

A flawless blend of sophistication and relaxation defines the different seating and lounging areas outdoors.

The outdoor spaces exude European charm with stone-veneer exteriors and mounted lantern lights.

A striking feature is the round pool, complemented by an elegant and comfortable lounge area nearby.

Which room in this gorgeous house was your favorite? I’d love to hear what you think!

Really outstanding new construction…the design, materials, and detail finishing work is superb. I would honestly have believed that it was an historic home that had a major restoration done. That hallway with the gothic arches is a knock-out! I have to admit, the interior design is not my favorite – a tad too ‘mall’ for my taste. But those two huge sideboards/buffets are just terrific. And, of course!, personally I can’t imagine building such a wonderful chateau and not installing some magnificent crystal chandeliers! 😋 But that’s me.
Wonderful tour – thanks for posting!

  5. The landing by the stairway is wonderful with the curved edges, soft hued wood floors and runner. I would sit there for a while.
