Minimalist white farmhouse decor has been trending for some time now. This refreshing take on living with less and incorporating vintage pieces seems perfect for achieving tranquility in these difficult times!
Minimalist White Farmhouse Decor
Meet Brittany, AKA @white.farmhouse, who lives in the countryside in a rural Alberta, Canada town. Living on a piece of land close to where she grew up was always a dream! City Life is not for her! Now raising her 3 boys she appreciates the wide open fields that her kids are able to enjoy!
Brittany lives in a home that she custom designed. The home and furnishings reflect the beauty of minimalist white farmhouse decor perfectly!
The layout of her home is something that she loves the most!
The Power Of Paint
After 5 years she has not regretted the placement of one wall within her home. In contrast to the original design, she has repainted almost every surface in her home! She has painted the exterior Hardie board, the walls, and even the cork floors!
Minimalist white farmhouse decor is always a style Brittany has been drawn to, opting for a simpler life. Simple often equals easier and less stress! Having a clean and clutter free home is something she insists on for her family’s overall well being.
While building her home she began chatting with Deborah, AKA @bvintagestyle, who lived in the next town over! The two bonded over their love of French Antiques in addition to the color white and lattes!
One day Deborah joked about opening a shop together … Brittany loves to go ALL IN and said YES! The two started a business together in the Fall of 2017!
Starting Vintage Society Co. has been such a passion for Brittany along with Deborah. They now share a blog www.vintagesocietyco.com , run a successful interior design business, coach others on photography and brand marketing, and have an online shop filled with their favorite items! Clearly they are a talented duo and I recently shared Deborahs home in this post – Farmhouse Tour In Canada
You will always find Brittany willing to take on any challenge. She loves to take on DIY projects and share the journey with her readers!
