The inside of the Belterra project reveals an organic modern aesthetic that’s just as refined as it is casual.
With modern clean lines, sleek furniture, smart use of geometry, and stunning woven textures that soften the contemporary backdrop, this home tour is the perfect inspiration if you’re looking for ideas to achieve a cozy luxury vibe in your own space.
Meet the Belterra Project: An Organic Modern Home Decor Home Tour
Designed by the Haven Design and Construction team, the interiors in this home tour showcase the importance of intentional design choices when creating the right aesthetic in a new build.
From simple examples like the use of a monochromatic color scheme paired with woven and metallic elements, this home has so many beautiful ideas! Let’s get into it, shall we?
Living Room: A Chic Twist On Organic Modern Home Decor
With a beautiful balance of contrast, the living room has a grandiose allure that sets the mood for this entire home tour.
Pairing statement pieces like an iron chandelier with a sleek fireplace framed by slabs of Calcutta marble, the space is grounded in contemporary style.
Layers of woven textiles in the seating area, area rugs, and sheer curtains help soften the sharp edges and minimalist color palette.
The result is a space that feels both sophisticated and completely livable.
The Kitchen: Where Function Meets High-End Style
Moving into the kitchen, you’ll immediately notice how the design team created a space that’s both hardworking and absolutely stunning. The custom range hood is one of the hero pieces here – with curved brass detailing that pops against soft gray cabinetry.
I just love how they’ve used brass consistently throughout, from the cabinet hardware to the pot filler! It helps to create a cohesive metallic thread that ties everything together.
Another thing that’s worth mentioning is the herringbone marble backsplash. It adds just the right amount of pattern and texture without competing with the statement hood.
Notice how they’ve styled the countertops with natural wood cutting boards and black ceramic pieces, which mirrors the bar stools’ woven texture.
These organic modern home decor touches really help to warm up this home tour aesthetic.
The Breakfast Nook: Casual Dining Done Right
Now let’s talk about this adorable breakfast nook! The built-in banquette seating is such a smart space-saving solution, and the black throw pillows against light upholstery create a perfect contrast we’ve been seeing throughout this home tour.
The natural wood dining table brings in so much warmth here. What I really love is how they paired it with sleek black chairs – it’s the same modern-meets-organic vibe making this whole house work so well.
The brass and black pendant light acts like the perfect bridge between the kitchen’s style and this more casual dining space.
The layered window treatments deserve a special mention, too. The bamboo roman shade adds the natural texture we keep seeing, while white curtains soften everything and create privacy when needed.
The Formal Dining Room: Statement Lighting Takes Center Stage
Moving into the formal dining room, and wow – this tiered chandelier creates such dramatic vertical interest, especially with the high ceilings.
The black metal framework keeps it from feeling too fancy or traditional, which is exactly what makes it work in this modern home.
I love how they chose a round dining table here instead of a rectangular one! It creates better flow for conversation and makes the room feel more intimate, even with the grand chandelier overhead.
The upholstered dining chairs in soft neutral tones keep things comfortable while maintaining the sophisticated vibe.
The balanced approach also shines in this room, too. Thanks to the oversized black and white artwork paired with the dining chairs in soft neutral tones, there’s a sophisticated balance that elevates the look.
The Playroom: Where Function Meets Style
The playroom is where things get really fun! Now, if you’re like me and worry about large furniture pieces taking over a space, this room will give you some awesome ideas.
Making a game room feel sophisticated isn’t easy, but the design team has definitely nailed it here.
Instead of getting a regular pool table (which can be a bit of an eyesore, let’s be honest), they opted for one in rich dark wood with black felt and made it the absolute centerpiece of the room.
The pendant light with its wood and black metal shades ties right back to the kitchen’s aesthetic while giving perfect task lighting for games.
Smart, right? I also love the floating media console, which keeps the TV from taking over the entire wall while providing storage for games and accessories.
The Bedrooms: Designed for Real Family Life
Now let’s head upstairs, where the magic really happens for this young family!
The bedrooms in this home show how thoughtful design can work for every stage of family life, from babies to big kids to parents who need their own serene space to relax at the end of the day.
The strong focal point is the black four-poster bed frame paired with an upholstered bench at the foot, adding both function and style.
We can see the same use of layered textures here as well.
Chunky knit throws, linen bedding, and woven window treatments help to add even more softness and coziness while still keeping the room sophisticated.
The kids’ rooms tell a completely different story, but still feel connected to the rest of the house.
The older child’s room goes bold with rich green built-ins and a fun airplane ceiling fan, while in the nursery, things are kept calmer with soft neutrals and a stunning woven pendant light.
Both spaces prove you can create personality-filled rooms for kids without abandoning the home’s overall aesthetic.
These bedrooms show how a well-designed family home can grow and adapt while maintaining its style integrity throughout every room!
The Study: Where Dark Hues Make a Bold Statement
Step into the home office and you’ll see how the design team wasn’t afraid to go moody!
The charcoal gray paneled walls create such a sophisticated backdrop for this hardworking space. Instead of feeling heavy or closed in, the dark color actually makes the room feel more intimate and focused. Perfect for getting work done at home!
The floor-to-ceiling built-ins are storage goals, honestly. Notice how they’ve mixed closed cabinets at the bottom with open shelving above, keeping visual weight balanced while hiding clutter.
The brass hardware and interior lighting add warmth to all the gray, while the styled shelves with books and accessories make the space feel lived-in rather than cold.
I love how the little details continue the natural material theme we’ve seen throughout the house with the cane-back chairs and woven pendant light!
The Master Bathroom: Spa-Like Luxury at Home
In the master bathroom, we have a beautiful space that feels like a high-end spa retreat.
The architectural detail of the arched alcove around the tub is really the focal point here. It makes for such a statement!
The large-format marble tiles on the floor feel modern and spa-like, and when paired with white countertops, they create a stunning contrast against the dark cabinetry.
The double vanities in matching charcoal gray, brass fixtures and hardware, and glossy finishes throughout the surfaces and details, like the crystal chandelier hanging above the freestanding tub, make this bathroom the ultimate example of a luxury experience.
The Powder Room: Maximum Impact in Minimal Space
The powder room is where the designers really let loose with pattern! The geometric wallpaper creates an incredible impact in this small space.
It’s bold without being overwhelming because the scale works perfectly for a powder room.
Y’all know I love going bold in small spaces. Sometimes those are the best places where you can take the biggest design risks!

And this powder room shows us exactly that. The geometric wallpaper creates an incredible impact. It’s bold without being overwhelming because the scale works perfectly for a powder room.
