Light filled and natural with lots of organic elements. This is how I would describe the home of Leslie from the blog Lemon Grove Lane. Leslie and her family live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and embrace the outdoor lifestyle that the area embodies. I became familiar with Leslie over on her Instagram feed and love what she shares in her squares!

“When we moved to Washington State I instantly fell in love. The food, forest with extensive trails, and emphasis on outdoor activities here in the Pacific Northwest suits us.  I feel inspired to bring nature inside and love the change of seasons.”

The great room is where the family gathers and as much of the home…has been going through makeovers.

Leslie is a self proclaimed DIY girl through and through.  She and her husband have been renovating this 30 year old house for the past several years. She feels that one can accomplish just about anything on a budget with a little creativity and lots of patience. Recently they installed shiplap on one wall in the family room. You can find a tutorial on her blog here – How To Install Shiplap.

DIY shelving now surrounds the fireplace and adds a space for Leslie’s collections. Leslie was born and raised in Southern California and her home also has a coastal vibe mixed in. “The coast will forever be a part of me.

The home has an open concept with the kitchen peeking into the dining area and great room. White painted cabinets in addition to marble on the counters are timeless and elegant. In contrast to the white, black hardware helps to define the mood. PNW fall color has simply been clipped from the garden and brought inside.

Talk about stove envy…without a doubt I have it for this black European gas range! In contrast to the white, grey and black…a vintage Oushak rug softens up the look with some faded patina.

On Lemon Grove Lane you’ll find helpful tips such as cleaning and organizing the natural way.

The seasons are clearly embraced with a subtle organic style in this Pacific Northwest Home Tour. Besides looking great, fresh Christmas greens in the great room and the table setting scent the home naturally.

Texture brings interest indeed to this neutral decor and is achieved with just a few cozy accent pieces.

If you enjoy health and beauty tips, Leslie is quite knowledgeable and shares those as well. “Career wise, I’m a jack of all trades. I began my career in a medical center working in Wellness. When my kids needed me home, I turned to beauty and received my Master Aesthetician credential and currently work in Dermatology.”She shared this whipped pumpkin body scrub recently that would make a great gift for the holidays!
