Stylish Affordable Neutral Sofas – Under $1000

Stylish affordable neutral sofas are out there, and I’m sharing 15 selections today. I was just visiting my daughter out in California and we spent lots of on-line time shopping together. Perks of being a mom of young adult daughters and this one is looking for a new sofa for her gorgeous place below.

I love the laid back style of her apartment which is in a Victorian home circa early 1900’s and gets lots of light. I only had my iPhone when visiting and below is a shot of the wall opposite the current sofa situation. They have a tv, but like many modern millennials use it hooked up to Apple TV that they use for streaming and for music. Notice the wainscoting and hardwood floors? Love the original details of these old San Francisco homes!

The room in the front of the apartment has an amazing view of the city from the bay window. That room is being used as their office. It’s a work in progress and it’s where a sofa is needed. You don’t need to spend a lot to have a stylish sofa these days! A sofa is generally the largest piece of furniture in a room and should be a well made piece that can stand the test of time. I prefer timeless designs, such as arm roll, tufted (and of course comfy) with clean lines. Neutral color sofas in beige, white, grey gives you a place to change up at a whim with pillows and throws. Sticking to neutrals let’s you have fun in design without changing the main and most expensive item. Honestly you don’t have to limit yourself to shopping Ikea because there are some great options out there that I’ve sourced!

I was not able to test out all of the sofas below, but I have bought plenty of furniture on-line with no issues.
