I adore the camelias post and the wonderful profusion of those flowers in the fall. The Sunday NY Times has a great article on the joy of a picnic during Covid-19 –you can bundle up or not depending on the weather –and do a grand picnic with social distancing. Wouldn’t Halloween among these camelias be the perfect setting. The picnic as socializing gives us a whole new way to address our outdoor life–and the settings are endless. A few features on creative ways to address the virus with social and stylish options would really be fun over the last few months of the year.

I’m a new subscriber to Shabbyfufu but have come to love the regular drop ins of inspiration to my inbox. In times like these where we can’t enjoy some of our favourite ways to treat ourselves like dining out, going to the theatre, or taking in a concert, I find renewed pleasure in beautifying my home. These posts are full of ideas to make my space cozy, and inviting and a place that I can tuck into until we all are back to “normal” pre COVID.

Having lived in Tulsa, OK for ten years, I learned to love French Country from Jack Arnold homes and home decor by Charles Faudree. I was so excited when I came across Shabbyfufu by Janet.
