You will need to purchase a hula hoop for this project. An adult-size one will make a large wreath. If you want a smaller one, get a child-size hula hoop!

You can find trimmings cuttings from your local tree vendor or Christmas tree lot.
Cut manageable pieces from the evergreen with your garden clippers. If possible, work outside as this is a messy process!

Attach all the clippings to the hula hoop using gauge floral wire and secure the branches in place.

Work in layers, alternating the directions for an interesting arrangement. Double the wire for larger branches.

Use a variety of greenery for texture! If you like a whispy look, try to find cuttings of Australian Pine.
Before flocking it, grab a handful of pine cones and hot glue them into the branches.

To flock your wreath, spray down your wreath with water using a spray bottle, and while still wet, apply Christmas tree flocking by pouring into a flour sifter and gently shaking over the wreath.
