An Elegant Transitional Grandmillennial Home Tour

In this elegant transitional grandmillennial home tour I’m sharing a house in the Atlanta that features a minimalist approach. Less can often be more and this home is being curated over time. Let’s head in and visit the lovely Michelle of Little Latti House!

Elegant Transitional Grandmillennial Home

Originally hailing from the Pittsburg area, Michelle Lanzilatti and her husband relocated to the suburbs of Atlanta for his job. Michelle had been trained as a cardiac ultrasound technician and is now a stay at home mom. This gives her time not only for her family, but to share her home and renovations on her Instagram account LittleLattiHouse.

Michelle had a vision when she first walked into the home that they ultimately ended up buying. The house had lots of light and “good bones” although was outdated. With mostly with cosmetic changes such as paint, lots of picture frame moulding and bathroom renovations the home is taking shape!

It was two years before we did any major renovations to our current home. Once we decided to begin any renovations, it was kind of a fluke that I stumbled upon my love for decorating and all things interior!

Michelle doesn’t fill her elegant transitional grandmillennial home with lots of ‘stuff’ . Each piece has some meaning and most of her decor is neutral. Looks like she is a lover of busts!

Slowly but surely we are making our house a home. I’d say my style is new traditional. I love a mix of old and new.

Like many millennials, Michelle collects and displays ginger jars.

Just recently I collaborated on a scalloped jute rug collection with my friend Christina from PalindromeHome!

Our home is 21 years old. My favorite room may be my sitting room, even though it isn’t finished. I love the floor to ceiling windows and all of the natural light. I also love my daughter’s bedroom with the Chinoiserie!

My bathroom renovations would be my favorite. They were dated before and I am so glad to have them finished!

Very pretty and very white. I always liked the open spaces that white makes you feel you have. It brightens up any space (small or large). And I guess the best part is you can decorate and redecorate in any color family because you have the neutral white color as your backdrop. I will give this some thought. My first impression was way too much white and then I took a second look and said, wow, I really think I like that. Thanks for sharing.

  5. This is my favorite house tour of the last month or so. Just a marvelous job of combining ‘old and new.’ I’m especially fond of the bedrooms – very elegant and smart without being overly feminine…often an issue for me. Thanks for sharing!

  7. What a beautiful peaceful home, thanks for sharing. I love the flowers throughout and the lovely different containers. I cannot wait to do this idea and place them throughout my home. I wish this was an amazon haul so I could purchase the exact mirrow. I have been trying for two years to find a décor for my fireplace, I now have it. Thank you so much for what you do and for sharing your talent and love of decor with us. May blessing be all around you.
