I’m sure this home tour will inspire you!

Let’s start our tour, shall we? Grab your cup of coffee and read on!

Traditional Home Tour with an English Country Twist

With the distinct flair of an English hunting lodge, the interiors of this home are traditional and sophisticated in style with a dramatic flair and modern touches.

Combining a mix of luxurious patterned fabrics and textures makes this space feel at once unique and traditional.

The dark floral curtains and heavy layered rugs along with the mismatched armchairs in patterned fabrics may be overwhelming, but modern pieces, like the acrylic coffee table, maintain the visual harmony.

The soft colors used on the walls of this traditional home tour as well as flooring work as a neutral foundation. They balance the room’s design while keeping its unique character.

Waved throughout this abode, we can find equestrian art pieces, another nod to the English cottage style in today’s traditional home tour.

Traditional framed illustrations of animals decorate the walls, staying true to the home’s overall theme.

The family room has to be one of my favorite rooms in this traditional home tour by far! It reminded me a little of the trendy style of vintage Maximalism I’ve mentioned before.

With a fireplace as the focal point, the decor in this family room is all about treasured items and collected pieces mixed in with modern ones. Artwork pieces cover the walls and most of the shelving unit around the fireplace.

The white ceiling with exposed wood beams helps to make this room look and feel more spacious while adding a rustic flair.

The seating area is all cozy with layered fabrics and throw pillows.

Facing the family room, we can find the kitchen in this open-concept home.

Traditional Home Tour Kitchen

The kitchen is a perfect blend of warmth and functionality, with cabinets crafted in a classic shaker style and a show-stopper kitchen island with dark wood and contrasting white marble.

The decorative plates against the light blue subway tiles of the backsplash are such a refreshing way to add color to a neutral kitchen!

The dining room sits against a large window between the family room and the kitchen. The furniture in this room is lighter than in the rest of the house, with an oval white table and checkered gray chairs.

The laundry room is a marvel of color and stylish functionality. The gorgeous blue cabinets extend from floor to ceiling, providing extra storage space for everything a laundry room needs.

The floral wallpaper -which also covers the ceiling – contrasts beautifully against the blue and the dark flooring.

Grabbing some colors from the wallpaper, a floral runner rug ties the room together. The rolling ladder is such a clever and pretty detail!

The bathroom features clean and sophisticated lines. A corner double vanity with white shaker-style cabinets makes the most of the space. A traditional rug with vintage-inspired botanical motifs adds that traditional touch.

The powder room decor is soft and romantic, with wainscoting and wallpaper in a delicate spotted pattern.

The mix of metallic accents, such as the gold round mirror and silver vanity, adds a modern twist.

The seamless blend of luxurious textures and patterns creates such a unique yet traditional atmosphere, don’t you think? Equestrian art, cozy fireplaces, and charming details like chinoiserie vases capture the essence of English cottage living, and this home is a perfect example!
