Hidden Storage Ideas To Utilize In Your Home

Welcome on in to our series French Country Fridays! Here is where we share the best of French style decor each Friday with friends and post topics relating to home, the seasons, lifestyle, shopping and more!

With the change of seasons coming soon, I’m doing some clearing out and organizing in my home. Although the kitchen is always clean and well organized, the cabinets are original to this home that was built in 1962. When we bought the house we had new doors made for all of the cabinets (called refacing) but budget dictated at the time to leave the boxes themselves. If I had my way now, I’d rip the entire kitchen out and start fresh, but we have to be realistic in that it doesn’t make financial sense. I’m often asked questions like that, since you know that my husband is a general contractor aka/house doctor! General rule of thumb is can you live with cosmetic changes only, how long do you feel you’ll live in the home and what value would it bring in terms of resale. So for us…I’m continuing to organize and below is a post from the archives on that topic – Hidden Fall Storage Ideas To Utilize In Your Home
