Home Style Saturdays 110 | Styling Your Home And More

Welcome to Home Style Saturdays, where we bring together posts relating to styling your home, DIYs, room updates and more. So it’s finally cooling off a bit here…just subtle signs of fall, and I’m excited to begin entertaining outside once again! Today though we are working on the install of items for our master bedroom refresh, and my post below is about the new cordless blinds. If you haven’t seen it yet and are in the market or will be in the market, it’s pretty informative. I have a question for you though…

I’m about to start those holiday posts and wonder what you’d like to see? Please leave me a comment and happy weekend to you!

I would love to see more “white” decorating with Xmas trees for Xmas & New Year’s Day!!! I would really love to see more ways to dress up chairslips for my dining room & for my kitchen dessert table!!! Soooo gorgeous!:)))))

I would love to see posts of your other house in Miami.. not on the beach… See how you have it decorated since it is your primary home! I bet lots of decorating ideas there for us too! Thanks!

    1. Thanks so much Pat…I have the master bedroom reveal coming this week and we are just getting started on a bathroom remodel that I’ll be documenting on the blog soon!

  3. Hi Janet, love your blog! I don’t comment often, I’m more of a quiet observer, watch and learn if you will. I’d like to see some fireplace mantle decor if you’re not so over that, lol. I’ve been in an ordering frenzy with no direction. I keep changing my mind and just buying what I like and I already know none of it is going to work together. (Sigh). But any Xmas decor you do I’m sure I’ll love and get plenty of ideas from. Thanks!
By the way, I adore your dogs! We just lost our border collie of 14 years and it about killed us!

    1. Hi Sheila…I appreciate your comment! I’m actually putting up a couple of Christmas trees today, so be prepared…lol. There is a lot of holiday content from previous years on the blog under the Seasonal tab in the meantime: https://shabbyfufu.com/category/seasonal/holidays/
So sorry about your dog…I know the pain you must be feeling having lost dogs of our own over the years. Hugs

I would love to see some ideas with more colors of Provence and transferware. Thanks!

  5. We are going farmhouse traditional this year red, black, tan and white. For years we’ve done coastal colors, or purple and bronze. I’d like to see red in a refreshed way using black checks and would love to use a white or frosted tree. Any ideas?

    1. Hi Michelle. I don’t traditionally do reds, but if you keep checking in I’m sure that I’ll be sharing bloggers that do!
