My 25 year old granddaughter is a fan of grand millennial. She had me send two rose colored velvet winged back chairs, that had been my grandmother’s, from California to Maryland. She enjoys her great-great grandmother’s chairs in her first apartment.

I love it! The room feels so warm and inviting, yet relaxing and at ease. I am a person for traditional style though. Both my grandmothers died before I was seven, so when we went to Calgary, we would always stay at my great grandparents and I loved them dearly. So when I see places like this, it reminds me of their home. Very thirties and forties styling…..I tend to decorate that way too. It’s a homey and loving feeling to me:)
Green in decor is timeless Pamela, indeed! My mom had a green velvet sofa back with bullion fringe in the day, and she didn’t know how fashionable she was!
