From fall-inspired candles to home decor that will make your home feel extra cozy, to seasonal outdoor decorations that will bring some extra color and texture —you’ll find chic and affordable ideas on this post!
It’s almost time to enjoy the coziest season of all! From watching the ever-changing color leaves turn into striking warm hues, experiencing the classic fall activities and tasting pumpkin lattes to snuggling in our cashmere cardigans, fall is truly one of the most enjoyable seasons. I personally find it to be a favorite season – as you can tell by now.
Another perk of fall is all the gorgeous home decor! And that’s the topic we’re diving into in this post. As an avid home decor enthusiast, I can’t avoid feeling inspired during this season and in this roundup, I’ve created a curated list of the best (and prettiest) fall home decor ideas available on Amazon so you can start decorating to welcome fall in your home.
Here are some of our favorite ways to make your home feel cozy this fall:
Make your home feel cozy with fall scents
Incorporating scents that evoke coziness and warmth is one of the easiest ways to bring the magic of fall indoors. How? Simple: Seasonal candles!
This Nest pumpkin chai candle is one of the most fall-like scented candles on the market. It smells delicious! Personally, I love that it’s not too sweet and has a clean –almost citric and woody- undertone that makes the room feel clean and warm at the same time.
When it comes to décor, Voluspa candles are a double winner. The packaging of their products is eye-catching, adding an air of luxury to shelves and coffee tables. However, it’s the intoxicatingly delicious scent that really makes them special.
For fall, my favorite ones in their collection are the Fall Candle and the Fall Fig Candle. Another lovely one is this cute Hello Fall one.
This glossy gold candle set is also on my wish list. There may not be a delicious fragrance attached to this glossy gold candle set, but the beauty of its glow and flickering lights makes up for it.
Add warmth and texture to the living room with fabrics
Fall is the perfect time to add some warmth and texture to your home decor. There are a lot of ways to do it, but I’ve found that the best place to start is by layering different textured fabrics. How? Cover your couch and accent chairs with a few cute decorative pillows and throw blankets! Something like this set of 2 corduroy pillows is a great start to give your living room a pop of fall inspired color. This pack of 2 velvet pillows is also a wonderful option if you want something a bit more lush.
Another classic you can’t ever go wrong with is a cable knit throw, like this one or something more lightweight that will work all seasons is this flannel throw blanket with tiny pompoms (isn’t just adorable?)
Update your entrance with fall inspired decor
Swap your summer decoration for fall themed elements. By placing small decor pieces, you can revamp your decor in a simple but noticeable way. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you probably know by now I’m a huge fan of using decorative pumpkins in my decor.
This year is no different! But, I feel like updating the ones I have and I found some stunning ones while scrolling through Amazon. This blue velvet set and glass pumpkins with lights inside are on top of my wishlist. It’s perfect to give a soft glow to your living room!
A beautiful way to decorate fall pumpkins is by creating mantles with glass pumpkins. My favorite one is this sage green velvet pumpkin set that goes perfectly with the current green trend. If you’re more into neutral shades, this set of gray toned velvet pumpkins is a fabulous option.
Bring the outdoors in with home decoration
Wood, foliage, rattan, distressed finishes… All of these materials add a rustic fall twist to any room! Because I love ceramic and jars, I’ve got my eye on this set of distressed white ceramic vases as they go wonderfully with my other farmhouse-inspired pieces but are still within the neutral family.
If you like a more whimsical and romantic vibe, something like these amber apothecary jars may be your best bet.
You can update your front door with something like this charming eucalyptus wreath. The lifelike layered foliage includes many different shades of orange and red, giving off an autumn vibe immediately. This white fall front door wreath is another pretty option that would look amazing if you have a dark front door!
Another great option is to bring in some natural foliage but in an unexpected way with a large pampas grass and faux eucalyptus. These options are great if you want to include texture and nature but want to continue a neutral scheme. I’m a fan of following the rule of three but one large pampa grass in a pretty vase is all you need to make a fall decor statement!
Add natural elements to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere
The reason why incorporating natural elements into your home decor is so popular is because it gives off a lovely organic feel and adds a cozy ambiance to your home. No detail is small. Adding a couple of small decorations such as woven baskets, wooden serving plates, rustic bowls and wood elements like wood knots and garlands of wooden beads can transform your home into a cozy fall getaway.
Another easy way to add fall inspiration is to switch out your summery paintings for something in tune with the season’s colors, like this vintage-style framed painting. I also loved this set of three boxes made of cane and rattan that provides a stylish way to display anything from small trinkets to photos. They’re perfect for adding an elegant touch to any room in your house!
Rattan and jute work wonderfully in every season although I tend to go for darker colors for fall and winter. Investing in accent chairs and rugs made of these materials (like this stunning jute rug) is always a good idea, but small items, such as boxes to display small trinkets or chic trays are great ways to add natural textures to your home on a budget.
Fall is a great season to redecorate your home, and it can be a fun way to bring the spirit of the season into your living space. I hope these small fall home decor ideas on how to revamp your home decor with some of the best Amazon finds inspire you to welcome the new season!
